Hi - this is John. We met today up at Darnley Mausoleum when you were on your Fatty and I was on my Scott. See? I did seek out your channel! Nice to see so many places in your videos that I know and ride often myself. Glad you like your Fatty but the best fun is to come - wait until it snows then those tyres really come into their own. As for your comments about suspension, yes, I have front suspension on my Haibike Fat 6 and it does help a lot though I'm pretty sure that for riding in this part of Kent, you don't really need a full suspension fat bike. One other comment I have is a suggestion that you might want to consider cutting down those really wide handlebars of yours - some of the gaps in paths round here mean that you must be cutting it very very tight! :-) Hope to see you and Chan out again soon.
Hi John thank you for your lovely comment. I will take your suggestions for my improvement on mtb riding life. I am sure we will meet any out in the trails.🤗
Love the videos mate! I grew up in Blue Bell Hill and still ride there a lot! Tried Bedgebury? Few nice trails there, not a patch on Surrey Hills though!
I have several hard tail, rigid, steel frame Fat bikes, but now I'm interested in purchasing a light weight aluminum frame Fatbike. Fatbikes and Tandem bikes are my favorite bikes to ride.
Whilst it may not be sexy tech, when you're sharing these trails with other people, especially walkers, runners and people with dogs or children, you should fit a bell or electronic horn to warn people of your approach. Especially on the blind bends. I always find people appreciate it when I give them an early warning. Scaring or inconveniencing people is bad enough, but ploughing in to someone at those speeds is going to end very badly. If you can afford a bike, you can afford a simple bell.
Thank you for your suggestion, mate. I get where you're coming from; since the lockdown, the number of people using the out door trail/path has skyrocketed. Trails are no longer as quiet as it once were, and there are frequent reports of collisions between walkers and bikers. I completely agree with your point of view. The simplest way to inform path users and avoid accidents is to have a bell.

Thanks ASZ man, It was rats rolling the big wheels up but it was rewarding while descending. I had to stop and fuel up less I would had literally collapsed 😂

Hello mate, I have just done the same route today, please see the link below; strava.app.link/FFsVYa8PWsb
Much better to hear you talking a bit more through the video. Would be nice to see a route map somehow. Liked the look of this ride.
