I love the gowns in this edition. Very elegant and great combination of colors unlike nowadays, gowns are mostly sparkly and silver or nude in color.

What a great MU edition in general! Puerto Rico was the queen of the night, undoubtedly. She slayed that runway (that initial facial expression during her strut at the beginning is everything!) and looked like a true winner. My other favorites: Greece and Venezuela.

I have always loooooved Spain's dress. It reminds me of Audrey Hepburn at the race in My Fair Lady. I remember thinking Greece was giving major Gwyneth Paltrow vibes in that pink gown. Puerto Rico was superior though. When she came out in that white halter dress, it was over.

I remember watching this. I thought that Miss Puerto Rico was overrated. My pageant sister was there (she, her mother, and a past pageant director were there to assist Miss Canada) & she told me that I had to be there because Miss Puerto Rico was so beautiful in person and just had something about her.
