What are the best things to do in Puerto Rico during CVID? Where can I go? Is everything shut down? Is the beach open? Look no further.
In this video I give my Top 5 recommendations for a great time in Puerto Rico during CVID-19. This list has been vetted and I have confirmed these recommendations are open and accessible for the public that may be visiting. With or without a rental car, ubers, excursions, and cabs can get you to all these locations for moderate prices that don’t cost you an arm and a leg. A lot of people have been asking me individually for recommendations, so I wanted to create this video to give everyone a centralized location to gather information. I hope this points you in the right direction for a great vacation to Puerto Rico!!!

@@h.naomisanchez-perez2781 I agree this behavior is unacceptable and the recent rise in cases/behavior is wrong. I am not inviting anyone here and telling them to act irresponsibly, nor will I. In my latest videos i even advise not coming during this time.

My father's from Rio grande which is in luquillo Beach and my mom's from Ponce. I go to Puerto Rico every year and I do notice a lot of people are experiencing Puerto Rico for the first time. and are surprised of the beauty and this is something that we've been having since we were children from the cows to the horses to the chickens I'm from New York city so every now and then I need to get away and see beauty and I'm really glad that I'm able to experience that.

@@musikmakerfan Ima keep it 100. they arent as accustom to the whole, a guy coming up to the and speaking to them cause men in PR are scared lol. But it can be done. I would go to the food truck parks for now, maybe la placita before 10 there will likely be a bunch of people just chillin.

Hi there are at least 2 biobays. The most popular is Vieques island, there are a few tour companies. Ill plug you down below.
Also the west coast, La parguera, near Cabo Rojo (secret tip #6) has a bio bay. I have never been to either but have only heard good things.

Great info. The small islands (my dad born in Vieques) and West Coast has some nice beaches like Cabo Rojo like you said and Aguadilla, not far from Cabo Rojo. Coffing Island and Cardona Cay is nice too!!!

Hey thanks for the love. I do, I have been, it is cool to do especially if youre just in town for week or so. its a cool things to say you did right, "we went to PR and went to the Bacardi Factory, home of the rum and coke" I recommend going if you are into that, also if its a rainy day that you cant get outside. Ultiamtely you wont be disappointed going, but its not my favooooorite thing to do. That being said, ive gone once, and id go again if friends visited. Good value for money, like 6 shots + a cup.
Side note. Im on the west coast this week, which was my 5th or extra recommendation. so be on the lookout for another video focused on West Coast PR
Ferry is shut down for tourist you say? I'm going next month, planning to take all my safety measures but I'll be checking out everything from Rojo Cabo to Aguada, San Juan, Fajardo, Flamenco, Vieques, & more. Ty so much this video was a great way to get info, some vids can be a slog.
sounds like a great plan. When this video was made the ferry was shut down but since then and the latest updates from January indicate you should be able to ferry. Albeit the rules will be updated February 8th or 9th but they seem like they will stay the same or be more open. This video details the latest updates.

I recommend it, especially for a rainy/down day, or afternoon activity. I recommend the Bacardi Tour, ive done that one it was cool and they gave like 5 shots + a drink with the tour package. nice views of Old San Juan too

Loved all of this info! Glad I found your page. I'm headed to PR in January. I think more things are currently closed, but I'll look into all of this. #newsubie Quick question for you, I'll be there 1/8-13, will the beaches be back open by then? Or will things continue to be that as strict as they have become?
I have seen some people on IG still doing some of these activities/one excursions and whatnot so theres still strong chances. I recommend one of the river trips (you would have to get a car or ride) but these are dope, more exclusive, and ive never seen them patrolled. I have a few videos on my page, dont go if it rains the day before.
As far as the restrictions, they run til 1/7, so a new order will go out with an update, they may keep it the same they may make some modifications. I'm hoping they open the beach back up, i feel like they locked it down because of the holiday season and people would be out actin a fool with the extra time.

Are there any beaches open now to the public? Not just people who are exercising or kayaking?
They are currently closed, check the other videos for waterfalls/rivers. They aren't patrolled

@@marsha2600 Ultimately, in my opinion, if you dont know the place its not worth staying jst to save money. Why? you gonna spend more money tryna save money, unless youre literally a, "I only wanna sit on the beach for a week person"
Otherwise you gonna be paying 30-50 for ubers to and from just to see all the things you "want" to see in the city and other areas. Maybe renting a car makes it worth it, but if you can rent a car you could most likely got lodging in the central areas.
Id just check out an Airbnb in Ocean Park/Condado/Isla Verde, maybe a NICE one in Santurce/Miramar and call it a day. Everything will be close to you, plenty of food options, uber eats and ubers. nightlife. etc.
Just my recommendation but if you find something nice def take it. Try vega baja
