My wife and I are planning a trip to Puerto Rico for the first time next July for our 10 year anniversary. It’s also my birthday month so this vlog came at the most perfect time. You gave a very descriptive outlook on all 3 parts of Puerto Rico. I was unaware and how I would go about it and you definitely gave us a better foundation. Thank you
Thank you for promoting my hometown! I’m glad that you had a great experience.
I live here and appreciate very much what you do in promoting our Island! Thanks !

Amazing! That sounds like a wonderful time. When I go back I need to visit Vieques
Was the ferry to Vieques from the main island open for tourists? I've been finding mixed answers... Thank you! :)

I just subscribed to your channel after watching the Positano vlog and was so excited to see that you went to Puerto Rico! I Just got back from Puerto Rico visiting my family. Rincon is amazing and I have to agree with you that San Juan is great but the west coast is amazing.
I've traveled all over the u.s. I'm so excited about my first "international" vacation to ponce. My brother's wife has family there, so hopefully we get the inside expierance. I'm just glad I talked them into going so she could see the family, and they could see the kids they've never met.
That is so exciting! I hope you have the best trip :)

@@DanaBerez was it easy to drive around or ? I'm thinking of going for 5days, but I do want to rent a car since I want to stay in OSJ but I wanna go to Culebra and other places.
Who would dislike this?!?!? One of the most helpful videos I’ve seen! Going to San Juan in a few days and I had no clue about many of these things! Thanks so much 👍
That is so sweet of you! I am glad you found it helpful and can't please everyone right lol Have an amazing trip!
Do you have to have a passport and take the Covid test?
@@JustMayii if you’re a US citizen then no passport! You need a molecular Covid test (Not a rapid test) to enter PR but not to exit...as of Feb 28,2021.
@@JustMayii You do not need a passport and you are required to take a PCR test to enter the island
The people who live here and have to endure entitled gringos starting fights, not wearing masks, disrespecting locals and the curfew, destroying hotel rooms and pissing on the streets; those are the ones not liking these type of videos, including myself.
Wow I’m excited! I’m going next week thank you for all the ideas and tips
Have an amazing trip
Hello Dear
my boyfriend and I just started planning a trip there and this video was so informative. thank you!!!!!!
Your so welcome! Hope you guys have an amazing trip
2 days in old San Juan.. really cool city but not for longer than that. Maybe check out luquillo then go to isla culebra and do a boat trip to tortuga. Call captain bill or Capn Dave. Flamenco beach and Tortuga beach are 2 of the top 5 beaches in the world. Probably best/easiest and cheaper to fly there from San Juan.. the ferry is iffy and it’s cheapest to rent a car just to get to the ferry. Rincon is cool but it takes forever to get there... I’d say 4 hr drive from San Juan. Not fun, lots of toll roads and the drivers are crazy AF. Make sure to eat tripletas, pan de agua sandwiches, pasteles and lechonara.. drink Don q rum and gasolinas..no one there would drink Bacardi. Make your own food if you like cooking, the restaurants there are $$$$$ and you’d be surprised at how unhealthy the food is. Learn a little Spanish and know the locals take their time doing anything and will always lie to you😂. Do Airbnb wherever you go. Contact them before you go and try staying for a week.. they’ll prolly give you a 25-50% discount. Rent a golf cart on culebra or do public transit. Camp on flamenco beach! Highly suggest going to culebra.. the main island can be a complete shit show and was the worst place I’ve been in the world as far as culture shock goes😂🤪. Check out I Need Vacations channel. He has some sweet videos about PR. Good luck and if you need any help reach out👍🏼
Hi Julianna

As a local, you did an amazing job with this video! I’m glad you love my home. Just one thing to point out, the waterfall is called Gozalandia which means “enjoyland” gozar = enjoy.
Thank you Carlos I appreciate you sharing this!
On my to do list! Thanks Carlos
Love that you included tips and guides for both San Juan and the west side of the island!! Exactly how I want to spend my trip and what I was looking for :)

SO ARE WE!
Who would dislike this?
People who are tired of ppl like you coming to the island and being disrespectful towards the fact that were in a pandemic and thanks to you tourist our case numbers just keep going up.
@@geraldineb890 how are we spreading it if we're required to have a negative test before entering PR? 🤔 that quite a statement to make.
Thank you that was a truly informative video! Great job!
For those thinking that they dont know where to stay since you like multiple places, all it takes to get from north to south is 2 hours super quik
Yes it’s super quick!
Such an informative and well done video. Thank you so much 🙏🏿
Thank you I’m so glad you found it helpful! Cheers!
Hi Friend
Love your video and the way you explained everyhing. Super video love it.i was born there and still visit once in a while when I can but your tips make me go right now👍
Yay! I am glad you enjoyed the video I am glad a native Puerto Rican liked the video thank you!
I recommend staying at Paradise Cove Airbnb in Arecibo if visiting between October and April. Beachfront villa with pool, several coves, surfing, snorkeling and water falls directly behing the property. Definitively need a rental car to get around but walking distamce to Cueva del Indio and Playa Caracoles.
Thank you for actually saying the facts of PR and helpful tips
i’m leaving next week i’m so freaking excited 😝
Have an amazing time be safe and read up on the local guidelines and rules
Thanks for all the good info I'll be there next week. I have also been to Rincon the last time I went and it was a great Beach and great atmosphere I loved it
Yes!!! So exciting, isn’t Rincon great! Have an amazing trip. Next time I will explore more of the eastern part of the island
Yes it was beautiful and thank you I'll definitely be going back to do some more exploring as well !
Thanks, Dana loved your video!
Thank you so much
thank you so much ! so helpful ! 💕
You’re very welcome
I have only went to San Juan for a few house during a Cruise stop. We now planned 9 days to visit this year so your video gave many great recommendations. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful! Great amount of time and worth going on a separate trip.
Great video! We stayed in the Condado area for a couple nights, and the beach waters were so treacherous that while wading I got knocked down! Thankfully my husband grabbed me before I was carried out with the currents, which were so strong. I ended up losing my sunglasses, getting completely soaked head to toe, and coming out of the ocean with my bottoms and top FULL of sand! I was laughing from the shock, but that beach has crazy strong waves that could be dangerous to anyone. I don’t recommend anyone wading or trying to swim there while there are waves.
Going there next Saturday!! Thanks for all the tips!! Kinda wish I watched this before making my plans!! Well configure playa Buye into the trip though 😉
Yes you must buye is def a vibe and the water is incredibly clear
I got introduced to your vlog through your Frenchie video. Beautiful content. ❤
There is actually a nice little beach in OSJ. The entrance is across from the Capital building.
Hi Merlin, you are absolutely right! It’s just smaller so it’s not the first one I would recommend in San Juan
Great job Dana. You do such a good job explaining everything. 🌹
Thank you so much!
@@DanaBerez When will your next Italy video be published? My wife loves the Positano bag you received with your dress purchase. P.S. I will enjoy an Aperol spritz before dinner tonight. 😎

So glad that I came across this video. Going to PR in July for my birthday.
Hi Melanie, thank you so much hope you have an amazing trip and birthday
@@DanaBerez Thank you again for sharing😊
So Puerto Rico I haven’t visited since I was 6 so it will be a new experience to me. I love this video it as very informative. I think since it’s my first adult visit I’ll stay at old San Juan to see the historical sites. Next time I’ll stay in fahardo.
Wow that’s amazing! Yes it will totally be a new experience but my favorite thing is the smell of the humidity when you first arrive it’s like you can smell the rainforest and staying in old San Juan is nice and central for the sites and fajardo is good for all the excursions on the east side and near el yunque. Have an amazing trip!
Thank you, this was very helpful!
I’ll be there in June !! Can’t wait!
I was born in Mayagüez and haven’t been there in many years so I’m excited will be in
Fajardo area and will drive to Mayagüez and cabo rojo for a date with my husband❤
Great tips! I’ve been to most of the places mentioned (we have similar taste...), except I haven’t been to Gozalandia and Playa Sucia. They are on my list for next time. 😊 You’ll need to go back to visit the beaches in Culebra, Aguadilla, and Isabela. Beautiful!!
Yes we do have similar taste! You will definitely need to check these places out and I must visit the places you mentioned.
Great information!
Thank you thank you I’m going to PR in a few days - very informative

Hello Friend
Glad I found this because we want to go this winter!
Anywhere in the Caribbean is amazing to visit during the winter to escape the cold winter months but Puerto Rico is awesome!
You should visit La Parguera in Lajas because its home to a small ferry boat that takes you to another island. It has a Tarzan style jungle lagoon where you can literally swing on it.
I was born here! Guayanilla, Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷🇺🇸
Puerto Rico was always my childhood vacation spot. Beautiful Video! 🌹♥️💯
