honesty, i know that this is an unpopular opinion, but i actually like how they did ema. they didn't have her try to get back together with the MC, but she only wanted him to help with the idols. i think that is a good way of how to redeem a character.
So, Kohei has been keeping this agency afloat with his savings and management skills. It's no wonder things went south for the agency once he left.

You're looking at it too personally, had she not come to them begging for help they wouldn't have known what was going on with the former company.
He hired her due to her showing genuine remorse for what happened while also showing more concern for the Idols trapped in S-Star than herself when seeking the MC's aid.
