Tanishq salesmen forget that they are salesmen, they start to behave like they are the owners and they size out the customer. Yes so true, yesterday I experienced the same, I went there wearing simple clothes and the sales girl of tanishq was reluctant to show me the jewelry I ended up buying from reliance jewels. Tanishq products are good but due to bad attitude of salesgirls, tanishq will lose lots of customers.

They are usually charges 25% making charges of gold value, just giving name of falana dhikna collection, but even little bit knowledge of jewellery industry then you can easily determine that the said collection is having nothing new rather than its name...... Ok as par this "paid promoter" CZcamsr said others are doing "milavat" in gold and cheat with people, I agree some of in jewellery industry may do this but it is not means that in industry all other jewels are giving lesser purity than tanishq...now we are come to point ... Case 1 You bought 20 gms gold jewellery from Tanishq on 5000 per gram rate and with 25% making in tanishq so you get the 20 gm jewellery at 125000.... Let assume after 1 yera gold rates are same and not any movement in gold rate and you want to sell this back and want money back then you will get only 97000 .... So your losses is 28000 apx Now case 2 .. You purchase from said small or local jewellers having hallmarked jewellery First of all you get 2 to 3% less gold rate per gram rather than tanishq so gold rate will be around 4900 per gram as well as they are charging making for the same pcs (ofcourse with same finishing) which you get from tanishq on 25% making charges here you may get on 10 to 15 % as per brand ...if big names are there then they charges 15% and small jewellers may charges 10% only so you may get the same 20 gms jewellery with same purity and same finishing it will be cost between 107800/- to 112700/- Here you may save your 10 to 17 % already on the name of making charges and premium for the name of said purity... Now you want to sell this after one year and rates are the same so you may get 95060/-... your loss in this case is between 13000 to 18000 only.... Not only making charges, even gold rates are high in Tanishq compared to reputed jwellers in city. You pay minimum 10% more even for a simple gold coin, if comparared with oldest and reputed local jwellers after tax / final price

Hallmark Gold kahi se bhi buy Karo, seller ko 22K ka rate dena hi padta Hai. Lakin jab aap Tanisque se buy Karte ho to 25% as making charg dena padta hai, Jo vapas resale karne pa nahi milta. Aap khud hi tanishq se sona kharid ne ke sath Sone ki Kimat 25% kam kar dete ho. Tanisque is not for Middle class.

I agree with high making charges .. but u can’t deny the designs and varieties in shops..thr designs are atleast 50 times better than other shops ..but will suggest for small daily wear things ,one can avoid Tanishq..however for special functions the ornaments purchased from the shop are better in design and you will definitely compliments..

You need to take into account the prices of shop. daily maintenance, salary of employees working in shop and then at the top need to maintain enough profit for shareholders and management.

Let me tell you many other jewels (you can say local jewellers) providing Purest form of jewellery 22kt with very reasonable making charges and without shouting like tanishq (tanishq people has habit to shout that in India they are the only the brand who is providing pure jewellery and other players are like chor company) even some jewellers giving 23 kt pure jewellery (let me tell you -it is definitely possible to make jewellery in 23 kt also)
Tanishq is charging money just for his brand name..Huid koi hallmark center galat nahi laga sakta isliye agar bill se huid jewellery lo to cheating ka to saval he paida nahi hota...taniahq labour charges are very expensive... Agar jewellery me bhi brand he chahiye or 1ya 2 lakh jyada dene se ferq nahi padta to he tanishq per jana chahiye verna bekar hai jakar lutna..

Tanishq salesmen forget that they are salesmen, they start to behave like they are the owners and they size out the customer. If you look ordinary, they don’t bother giving any attention even though you want to buy their product. This is why I stopped going to Tanishq. The right salesman makes all the difference!

Yes so true, yesterday I experienced the same, I went there wearing simple clothes and the sales girl of tanishq was reluctant to show me the jewelry I ended up buying from reliance jewels. Tanishq products are good but due to bad attitude of salesgirls, tanishq will lose lots of customers.

They are usually charges 25% making charges of gold value, just giving name of falana dhikna collection, but even little bit knowledge of jewellery industry then you can easily determine that the said collection is having nothing new rather than its name......
Ok as par this "paid promoter" CZcamsr said others are doing "milavat" in gold and cheat with people, I agree some of in jewellery industry may do this but it is not means that in industry all other jewels are giving lesser purity than tanishq...now we are come to point ...
Case 1
You bought 20 gms gold jewellery from Tanishq on 5000 per gram rate and with 25% making in tanishq so you get the 20 gm jewellery at 125000....
Let assume after 1 yera gold rates are same and not any movement in gold rate and you want to sell this back and want money back then you will get only 97000 ....
So your losses is 28000 apx
Now case 2 ..
You purchase from said small or local jewellers having hallmarked jewellery
First of all you get 2 to 3% less gold rate per gram rather than tanishq so gold rate will be around 4900 per gram as well as they are charging making for the same pcs (ofcourse with same finishing) which you get from tanishq on 25% making charges here you may get on 10 to 15 % as per brand ...if big names are there then they charges 15% and small jewellers may charges 10% only so you may get the same 20 gms jewellery with same purity and same finishing it will be cost between 107800/- to 112700/-
Here you may save your 10 to 17 % already on the name of making charges and premium for the name of said purity...
Now you want to sell this after one year and rates are the same so you may get 95060/-... your loss in this case is between 13000 to 18000 only....
ONE MORE THING MOST IMP I want to tell you that on the name of Own making... tanishq is more or less only 20% in house production others 80% of his jewellery is outsourcing same as other jewellers are doing...

But there is no use to show that others are cheater and only they are Genuine. ..
We have 0 doubt on them, but in this industry there is many more small and medium size players who provide customer best quality, best services and best rates together and they are far better then Tanishq in terms of collection in terms of quality in terms of service... and they are alive and available in this industry with centuries.....

Not only making charges, even gold rates are high in Tanishq compared to reputed jwellers in city. You pay minimum 10% more even for a simple gold coin, if comparared with oldest and reputed local jwellers after tax / final price

Hallmark Gold kahi se bhi buy Karo, seller ko 22K ka rate dena hi padta Hai. Lakin jab aap Tanisque se buy Karte ho to 25% as making charg dena padta hai, Jo vapas resale karne pa nahi milta. Aap khud hi tanishq se sona kharid ne ke sath Sone ki Kimat 25% kam kar dete ho. Tanisque is not for Middle class.

I agree with high making charges .. but u can’t deny the designs and varieties in shops..thr designs are atleast 50 times better than other shops ..but will suggest for small daily wear things ,one can avoid Tanishq..however for special functions the ornaments purchased from the shop are better in design and you will definitely compliments..

Gold rate India mein har city ka alag hai, Tanishq limited stock and designs., unke making charges se 10 gram necklace ajayega bahar wale brands mein, koi jewellery pure nahi hothi isliye usko 916 22 karat gold bolthe hain sabse bakwaas tho yeh hai ki customer se jabardasti scheme khulwatha hai

You need to take into account the prices of shop. daily maintenance, salary of employees working in shop and then at the top need to maintain enough profit for shareholders and management.

They are usually charges 25% making charges of gold value, just giving name of falana dhikna collection, but even little bit knowledge of jewellery industry then you can easily determine that the said collection is having nothing new rather than its name......
Ok as par this "paid promoter" CZcamsr said others are doing "milavat" in gold and cheat with people, I agree some of in jewellery industry may do this but it is not means that in industry all other jewels are giving lesser purity than tanishq...now we are come to point ...
Case 1
You bought 20 gms gold jewellery from Tanishq on 5000 per gram rate and with 25% making in tanishq so you get the 20 gm jewellery at 125000....
Let assume after 1 yera gold rates are same and not any movement in gold rate and you want to sell this back and want money back then you will get only 97000 ....
So your losses is 28000 apx
Now case 2 ..
You purchase from said small or local jewellers having hallmarked jewellery
First of all you get 2 to 3% less gold rate per gram rather than tanishq so gold rate will be around 4900 per gram as well as they are charging making for the same pcs (ofcourse with same finishing) which you get from tanishq on 25% making charges here you may get on 10 to 15 % as per brand ...if big names are there then they charges 15% and small jewellers may charges 10% only so you may get the same 20 gms jewellery with same purity and same finishing it will be cost between 107800/- to 112700/-
Here you may save your 10 to 17 % already on the name of making charges and premium for the name of said purity...
Now you want to sell this after one year and rates are the same so you may get 95060/-... your loss in this case is between 13000 to 18000 only....
ONE MORE THING MOST IMP I want to tell you that on the name of Own making... tanishq is more or less only 20% in house production others 80% of his jewellery is outsourcing same as other jewellers are doing...
So there is no logic to pay extra until you get some thing different .....
I have huge respect with name "tata" and ratan sir...
But there is no use to show that others are cheater and only they are Genuine. ..
We have 0 doubt on them, but in this industry there is many more small and medium size players who provide customer best quality, best services and best rates together and they are far better then Tanishq in terms of collection in terms of quality in terms of service... and they are alive and available in this industry with centuries.....

Let me tell you many other jewels (you can say local jewellers) providing Purest form of jewellery 22kt with very reasonable making charges and without shouting like tanishq (tanishq people has habit to shout that in India they are the only the brand who is providing pure jewellery and other players are like chor company) even some jewellers giving 23 kt pure jewellery (let me tell you -it is definitely possible to make jewellery in 23 kt also)
