Macca sold Liverpool out. Dragged his heals on a contract so he could go on a bosman. Such a disappointment, could have had legendary status like Robbie but chose the money. Fowler will always be remembered, McManaman is a legend nowhere.

Hahaha honestly after all these years i think some of us LFC fans need to get over it. He was treated badly. He wasn't offered a contract until he had less than 12 months left & nearly got sold to Barca during that time without his consent (Barca used it as a decoy to sign Rivaldo from Deportivo La Caruna instead) . So when he jumped ship a season later who could blame him. He's probably the most successful English man to play abroad winning two Champions leagues & he was man of the match in one of them.
