They are actually on a bit of a hiatus, not that they are ever not working for long, they are workaholics. They rolled from their Christmas 2022 tour directly into a 2023 World Tour through Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, then right into a North American Tour, followed almost immediately with their Christmas 2023 tour with barely a pause. Right now, Scott and his husband are launching their new children's book. Kirstin is about to get married and is busy with that and she recently auditioned for something and didn't say what (bets on whether it's a Disney film or a Broadway Show or something else?). Matt's wife is having a daughter very soon, and Mitch is traveling with his boyfriend quite a bit and posting pictures of romantic locations. Kevin has been posting himself at the gym doing deadlifts and whatnot. The band does have plans for new music coming soon, and although they aren't going on an intense world tour that never ends like last year, they already have several Summer concert dates planned.
And Scott has been very busy in his new home studio, with lots of little experiments posted on his socials, his release of "Flaunt It", and the music video for "Bubs". And probably still working on his musical, too.
I’ve also heard they are working on a movie!
They are *amazing* with the electronic effects on this one! It's subtle but they really sound like electronic keyboards.

This is probably my favorite of their mash-ups. I never get tired of hearing it.
You mentioned how short Kirstie is - she's average height for a woman, but standing next to Scott always makes her seem smaller, since he's a foot taller than she is. The heels she loves to wear cuts down the difference somewhat, but yes, there's quite a height difference there!
Scott - 6'4" - I've also seen 6'3", but Kirstie called him 6'4" in a Tik Tok, so I'm going with her numbers!
Kevin - 6'1"
Matt - 6'1"
Avi - 5'11"
Mitch - 5'10" - this is the one that fools many people; comments about "the small guy" or "how tiny" Mitch is, when he's slightly above average height

Kirstin and Mitch appear small as they live in a land of giants.
Mitch wears heels sometimes, too--look at some of the Superfruit videos. And Scott has a pair of platform heels that he wears every once in a while, too, that make him look like even more of a giant! He wore them in the video for "Over the River", but you don't actually see them since all the shots of him are from the waist up, but if you watch the behind the scenes video he talks about them and you see a small glimpse of them.

My fav part of this performance is listening to the background vocals, they are insane, so intricate with the sounds and blends they are doing. LOVE IT!

Thanks guys!! Another much loved one. I love their mash-ups as well....they have a very fresh approach to putting two songs together in ways you wouldn't think of. Yes, they do use reverb on the vocals sometimes.

You really to react to the PTX journey on the sing off, season 3. You will see how PTX learned how to do so much, including the mash-ups, medleys. You will see the growth they have from the very beginning. You need to include the judges comments and discover the original pentaholic, Shawn Stockman and the original Mitch slap. Remember, they didn't meet in person until the day before the audition.

I love both songs, "LaLaLa" and "Latch" so I really love the way Pentatonix did this mashup to effortlessly blend the songs to make them sound like one song. They are amazing. Thank you for the great reaction to this beautiful Pentatonix mashup video.

Great medleys in the evolution series. The evolution of Beyonce, of Ariana Grande, of Rihanna, of Michael Jackson. All filmed in one take. They will usually do 3 takes and take the best. No cut and paste. Amazing.
Recommend their cover of Come Along. This whimsical, fantastical song has an otherworldly vibe with some words from the Lewis Carroll poem, Jabberwocky. There are various interpretations for this song.

While I love the vocals of Scott, Mitch and Kirstie on this, I think it's the backing of Avi and Kevin (aka Meat and Potatoes) that makes this such an amazing mash-up.

2:09 that gave off josh hutcherson vibes. In an interview he says "my brother and his boyfriend" and its a treasured piece of media for so many lgbt people because of how normalised he made it. He said it he brough no attention to it he told his story and didnt focus on it at all. And that moment of correcting yourself to they/them pronouns for sam smith gave of the exact same feel. No attention needed a simple correct and respectfully moving on. I dont think many outside of the lgbt community can understand that feeling. Its so special. And i love your guys acapella reactions there always great
