Due to the effects of lockdown, one can observe that wild metal bands are starting to return to the Finnish forests. They are indeed a part of the local ecosystem which cannot thrive in the absence of corpse-painted groups.

@@korth26 Well it is unusual considering a few things. Keep in mind that metal is quite new a genre, and first really made roots trough the 90's for a broader audience. It will defenitly not be uncommon to have old metalheads in the years to come. In example, as we see with the more classic metal today, where people of all ages listen to Judas P.
My dad is Seventy and listens to Satyricon and a bunch of stuff like Old Man's Child. You're never to old to find new music to enjoy!

@@EvilVulthoom i started with purple and sabbath then iron maiden and dio and saxon manowar and then came metallica ....they opened my eyes to extreme metal....thats how things evolved.........metal has no boundaries and ageing metalheads know for sure that metal is music at its finest and not

Aside from melodeath, I think folk metal is easily the most fun music to listen to, of any style.

I always thought that bands that stick to their formula were the ones that stood the test of time the best, and Finntroll is proof positive of that.
This is awesome. I only really ever listen to three metal bands any more, Dark Tranquillity, Insomnium and, of course, Finntroll. These last 12 month haven't been so bad !

I could’ve sworn Beast Dominator was back on drums; it sounds like him. From what people are saying I’m going straight to the full album after this song ends, I used to love this band and Samu has always been my favorite drummer.
i liked samu more... he had that trollish, swingy beat yet so technical. this is more technical drumming, still excellent of course. the guy talked in an interview about how this band demands thinking on the drums differently, like, "less is more" or making it trollish
