The original magical quest is one of my favorite games for the SNES. Never knew there were sequels. Looks awesome, I will have to check these out.

I don't blame you. I constantly find myself going back to this game just to fight some of its bosses. They are more punching bags than bosses, but that might be part of what makes fighting them so satisfying.

Why are some of the bosses just so satisfying to beat up in this game? Between the fat bouncing Pig, the giant flower you can just mindlessly wail away at, or that octopus with it's humongous bulging head, a lot of the bosses end up being nothing more than punching bags, but it's just fun beating them up anyway. Might be the reactions and how they move.

My headcanon is that the Magical Quest games are canon to Kingdom Hearts: Pete being evil in these games is what got him banished.

Depends on the costume , either Mickey and Donald are better in their respective costume.
I found Donald being better at Barrel costume due to his attack dealing a wide earthquake while Mickey is a better magician since Donald need to crouch to cast magic.

There is something legitimately satisfying about the bosses in this game. That pig boss is so fat and his attack strategy is ridiculous. That octopus head is huge! The flower is fun to smack around with the knight outfit. For some reason, even the sound they make when they get hit is kind of satisfying.
