How to Speak Musky with Pete Maina & Kristine Fischer

- A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of fishing with Kristine Fischer. Some of you may know Kristine from her kayak bass fishing. However, at heart Kristine is a die-hard musky angler. If you have not heard of Kristine you need to check out her social media. She lives eats and breaths fishing.
From the weather to the fish, nothing seemed to be cooperating with us. But hey that's musky fishing! We had fun and in the end, we were able to put a nice fish in the boat.
The number one thing we learned on this trip was that you can't be nice to the fish. In fact, things seem to work out better when you speak downright nasty to these fish. "Musky Suck!"
Pete you are great but my hat goes off to your video guy. Truly outstanding footage. Christine, stay in the Midwest. That stuff down south is for the birds.
Kristine is pretty good at getting around. I don't think you're going to keep her in any one location

It was definitely the pattern. If you don't care for occasional bouts of potty mouth - "Mommas don't let your babies grow up to be muskie anglers"

@@illmuskyhunter3313 Yeah was Walking Boss bait has been good lately. It's been tough overall; lots more pressure with Canada closed only so many active fish to go around
@@petemaina7073 when I was up there in July it was very noticeably busier out there on the lake there were certainly more people that I personally ever remember seeing out there. Like you said with the Border being closed its nuts. My buddy stayed all the way at the south end past the new-ish bridge (don't wanna say the lake name)

After you watch kristines musky kayak videos, especially the ones on big water with truly dangerous winds and rain, you realize she is insane. So a monsoon would hardly slow her down 😁
