- My search for that magical 50" musky continues. Im still on lake st clair chasing them in the kayak. The weather is getting a little sketchy... but that bite was GOOD

I've been fishing Saint Clair for a few years now and finally got my PB a 50" fish this August. I love all your videos.

You really NEED to bring food & water though. Your body is your most important piece of equipment, you gotta take care of it. Just pack up a big bunch of waters and non perishable foods and leave it in the hatch. That way you don’t have to remember it every day, just resupply it every few days when it’s low. This is also a safety thing. What if bad weather forced you onto shore in a remote area with no cell service?
Anyway lecture over 😀 You are killin the game, just want to keep you safe & healthy!

For anyone who was wondering the validity of her catch, it is 100% legit. A buddie and I were about 200 yards from her when she caught the beast! In fact we are the boat at 8:30 and 12:40! She’s the real deal! Good luck in your quest for 50’ KF!!!!

Had that same issue with the GoPro, lost a lot of amazing muskie footage. Bring a snack and water then you can stay longer ! Either way amazing video lots of Muskie strikes ! Keep up the great content Kristine mad respect to any female that endures this tough sport.

Have you thought about attaching a leash to your rods? All of my rods have leashes attached to them. The leashes doesn't interfer with casting. Just something to think about. I enjoy your videos.

Haha yeah there’s always that one guy... no one on CZcams yet but a guy on my IG said it was a fake pic. I don’t sweat those comments. Luckily two boaters saw me catch it and commented below , my kayak friend has footage of me catching it from a distance also.

That is an impressive fish! Much bigger you're not gonna be able to get it in the kayak. A "few" more casts, when the fish are on I forget to eat and drink lol. But I always take a couple bottles of water & snacks with me, just never get around to them. Hope you can hit the 50"! Being that close is motivation!

Looks like you had a great day of fishing. I had the same thing happen to me with my go-pro, I caught my PB pike and latter found out that there was a SD card error uggg! Do you fish St Clair much? My friend and I would love to kayak fish St. Clair someday.
Yes. St Clair is my favorite lake and it’s awesome in the kayak! The smallmouth fishing is world class!

Insane fish so I’ve never really Muskie fished before what is the ballpark weight on a 49 1/4” Muskie? I’m just curious
Honestly I wish I could tell you... these fish this time of year vary so much.. i could barely lift her. A boater said it was a 40lber all day. Typically a 50” weighs around 39lbs and with how heavy this fish was I bet it was

I fished from a Kayak for the first time and it was really weird! can't do it (mostly because I am 50)
To tell truth I wouldn’t record anything the picture at the end was good enough for me. Be careful and take care of your. I know how it is I never take food and never enough water because I don’t have time to stop and eat when I’m fishing
It’s tough to remember to do that when the bite is so good!

@@kristinefischer2289 I like it, I always have problems with my gopro freezing up too*look to make sure it's recording, black screen hit record* "repairing file". I had it freeze up right in the middle of a 9lb bass last year. I bought a session 1 for a second angle camera. It's old and not as good quality but it's reliable and never freezes, stick that thing on a battery pack with a 128gb card and record all day.
Froze up on me right after I hooked this beast, luckily my cousins GoPro was recording tho so at least I had footage of him netting the fish czcams.com/video/GHNIWhd9bRA/video.html
