I think the difference capacity reported by Mac vs PC is that Apple started using 1GB = 1000 MB and 1MB = 1000 KB, etc. PCs use the older measurement of 1GB = 1024 MB and 1MB = 1024 KB.

what a good external hard drive thats good for value and trusted company?
Samsung is the top usually like Samsung T7 or T9 etc.
The worst hard drive I've ever used. Completely failed, not even recognised by device manager. And it's sealed in so can't take it out to try in a different casing.
All drives can fail and I understand your frustration. You are the first person that said it failed but I like to hear real-world experiences.

Hey there! , excuse the paragraph but as a person who owns a 500GB (Gray) and a 250 GB (Gold) max one drives
these hard drives are awesome! but they take time depending on what you're adding into the work load espsically when your using it to hold all of your data in one place. transferring big files up to 6 gigabytes or 2-3 gigs can take some time but due to hard drives edurance they will last long. so i dont mind the speed being slow on a large file.
that's the tip of the ice berg! i hope you review some other products or storage devices and tell me what you think (custom or brand made external ssd, flash drives or nvme drives that are external with an enclosure)

PS. i dropped my max one and the back plastic is loose but i put it back on and it snapped back in place. these hard drives are durable and thank god it didnt give me the click of death sound when i checked for any bad sectors or clicks after the drop. just make sure the drop isnt a hard fall!

To be honest mine has been working fine but.... since I do reviews of so much hardware I normally do what I call product showcases not full reviews. I'm using about 30 different hard drives (all types) so I don't really pound the drives to see how they hold up longer term. I have used it for a year or more and it still works fine but just have not really been moving all my data to it. So that is the honest answer since I have so many others I do product showcases on that are much faster.
Hey I have been looking to buy this maxone hard drive for gaming do you think it will perform good on games like ark survival evolved.
To be honest, I haven't really tested it on games and I'm not a huge gamer but it is pretty cheap so you can test it and then return it if you need to

So far I have had no issues. I do use quite a few ssds for my channel so I normally do product showcases and not long term reviews but so far it's been working great for me.
Does anyone know how to disassemble it? Mines being having issues, does anyone have a link to a video of a dissemble on it?

Really cool that you do some products that are more budget friendly, & you know everyone wants to know who looking for them because if they did any research, they will find them. & No one else is doing that! I went ahead & went with the WD Black P10 4TB! & got it brand new for 72$ + 10 $ shipping! Found a lady selling it on one of those apps that people post items they want to get rid of lol I've never been on/used one before but glad I did!

For $30 bucks it's either this one or maybe one by Unionsine you can also get on Amazon. I'm going to do a review of that soon. Those are lower priced so if you build your own that would be better (external enclosure and you pick drive) or going with one of the larger names are good too but normally more than $30.
Will it work on IPhone 14?
I don't have one to test. This is not the best option for that I would think.

I'm guessing if you are asking if it still works? Yes, it has been working good so far. But, with any hard drive there will be a very small % that fail but so far this this mine has performed perfectly. Thanks for watching.

Yes, it has been working good so far. My example is just one but the reviews are also very positive online so it appears overall these can be as good as any other hard drive for sure.
