I had the problem where I wouldn’t get the option to “Extend” the screen”, but simply mirror it. How I solved it was to open the window, where one can adjust the position of the screens. Press and hold Option to drag the displays apart. Then it should work

Hello, my only doubt about buying the HUB is that when you put the Mac to "sleep", the SSD unit disconnects and reconnects, filling you with messages. Has that happened to you?

I really want these M4 gpu's to actually compete against the latest AMD or Nvidia but I don't think that's the case. I believe something like the base M4 mac mini's gpu will probably be something along the line of a RTX 4050 laptop gpu. Even the M1 Pro base gpu are better than the M3 base gpu. I am hoping the M4 will at least step it up in case of gpu and will actually be closer to a 4060ti or even 4070 at least. CPU wise, Apple has always been top notch.

Hello, I totally agree with this review. I have a handful of JBL top of the line portable (Bluetooth) speakers, i.e.., Go 3, Flip 6, Pulse 3 and Charge 5 and a few other brands. I like them all, but the speaker I find myself using the most (out of convenience) is the EWA. Why? Because this little sucker packs a punch and its small size fits perfectly on my mini shelf mounted above my headboard on the bed. Yeah, when I'm lying in bed with either my mobile phone or tablet this is my Go-to-Choice speaker.

Craig, I know your download numbers are averages but they seem somewhat dated. We're in Western Washington and have high speed internet only (no TV), and over the last four years Xfinity has boosted our download speeds from 200 to 600 Mbps. Amazingly, they raised the cost only $6.00 (that's six dollars!) per month. Also, Walmart and Amazon have the M1 iPad Air 5 base model on sale for $399. Mine is in the mail, and I gifted my 10th gen iPad to my son for his birthday this week (he's 43, which doesn't seem possible, that would make me old).

The Settings App is a mess. I’ve just gotten to the point where I just use the search box at the top to find anything. I hope they just give us back the old layout. These MC25 PRO do not work well with Sonoma, there is not enough power for faster NVME drives and it simply shuts down (ejecting). I own one and i would not recommend. Works really fast when it works but whenever i try to copy some bigger files or put some load to the disk it shuts down. The additional USB-C power port is just for the front USB. It does not power the internal disks.

I have a 2013 iPad Air that looks brand new, and still works great. The only problem is no updates from Apple, and a lot of APP´s don´t work, and the battery only lasts 3 hours. I´m planning on getting a new battery put in it.

Im 6'4 220lbs with enormous hands. Only resoan I want the ultra is the biggest screen possible. I daily drive the 13 pro Max and STILL havent used half the features. My work cell is an iphone 8 S Plus that still works phenomenally on the original battery so getting the ultra isnt to flex but just the biggest display possible. Id buy a phone with an 8" display

Competition creates divides. The X plus and elite don’t have to beat M3 pro and max. They just need to be the M1 moment for windows. For the cost right now, X elite launched at a good price, apple still has the better igp, in the M3 M4 and pro and max chips. Say Lenovo slim 7x is $1200 for X1E80100 with 90hz 1000 nits Oled, very competitive. Next MacBook Air is rumored to have 12gb, and an even faster igp than M3 and XE180100 with very close to X1E80100 multicore, maybe a good deal then.

Snapdragon X elite vs M3?

Microsoft markets its ARM laptops as ultra books for content creators and daily users, so I dont think they ever mentioned M3 pro and Pro Max. Besides, we should wait for the surface laptop studio to compete with the MacBook pro. The target is MacBook Air M3, and I think if Snapdragon is M3 or even M2 good, thats enough for most people and a win for windows.
