@@ripme6616 that's correct, that's why you can recover your wallet from the passphrase, the wallet is just a way you can easily access the crypto but it's not stored 'in the wallet' itself

Someone else has set up their ledger live app on computer …. I have set up my ledger device ….. but on the computer it just says welcome back from the ledge live app and says type in password …. I’m sure it should say welcome?

you only need the seed phrase, the wallet is just a convenient way to actually use the crypto

not sure on that, I don’t believe so, but they have a different model designed to be used with Bluetooth so that might work better
