- Ju Jingyi (simplified Chinese: 鞠婧祎; traditional Chinese: 鞠婧禕; pinyin: Jū Jìngyī, born 18 June 1994) is a Chinese singer, dancer, and actress. She rose to fame as a member of Chinese idol girl group SNH48. As an actress, she is known for her role in the historical romance drama Legend of Yunxi (2018) and mythology drama The Legend of White Snake (2019).

She is multi-talented and beautiful, inside out. She never called herself the "once in 4000 beauty"; in fact, the media started it off with "once in 4000 idol" and it got misconstrued from there. I don't know how much say she has; from what I understand of the industry in China, her management agency probably makes most of the decisions in something like this.
Kikuchi Ju Jing Yi just wants to be an actress. To only be known for beauty and see symbols diminishes any accomplishments and keeps her as only the surface seen and the depth of her abilities. It's not her fault that she is beautiful. She has brains, personality, and so much charisma that is barely acknowledged because everyone in stu k on the pretty packaging. It hurts that everyone stops skin deep. I see past that to effort she puts into each character. She is a great actress. She has a bubbly personality that is infectious to all around her. She is so much more than what is reflected in the mirror. It is a compliment that turns belittling after only hearing it and not hearing about your acting. She is not getting the parts because her face draws a crowd, it is because her personality shines through and her acting. Yet all the focus is your beauty this and your beauty that. Yes she was born that way, but she earned her lead roles by acting and chemistry with others. Please acknowledge the 99 % of her that remains. The beauty might fade, the personality and acting will be there forever.
I love Ju Jingyi and I know why she's upset. She was made as a comparison photo. Who would want that?

What's with her acting? From what I have watched she is better at acting then the popular A-listers. Of course she is getting better with every project.
