I have an 05 V8 Mustang and it is an amazing car. I never had engine problems, it is easy to maintain, and I receive plenty of positive comments for it. The only issue I had it with it is that the side leather door panels peel off during the summer, but a simple upholstery job will fix the issue.
Yeah, I am going with that issue right now. Thats the only bad thing, but as you said its an easy fix.
YES! These cars are lasting a long time. They are a great car to have and super fun
Raul Martinez I bought some stuff called Future Glue from the Dollar Tree and my panels haven't sagged in over a year.
Dude. I have the same reoccurring problem. I hate it, never have found a permanent solution either.
Have you done an upholstery job on it? Spraying 3M glue or using hot glue is only a short term fix and they will peel off because the leather size the Ford company originally used was too short and so the leather will come right off when the glue holding it together looses its adhesiveness. I had an upholstery job done on it. It costed $300 and they replaced the old leather with new leather. So far it has been holding up and there is no indication that it is coming off soon.
Raul Martinez no I need to find some where to do that. I've tried 3m and so other glue and none of it has held up for more than a month. I think I will just have to take it to a shop.
That's what I like about mustang they're affordable and reliable performance cars,easy to work on them and there are plenty of aftermarket parts to customize them.👍

I have a Black 2005 V6 mustang. Got it for $11,500 with 9k miles on it. Bought it in March 2016. Definitely stole it for that price.
It had the special wheels on it with a spinner like hubcap (not sure what its actually called), Red leather interior, and a shaker 1000 radio system in it. I love it so much and i'm very grateful I got such a deal on it. Everyone tells me to trade it in for a V8 because V6 are garbage but i dont plan to ever get rid of it. It was to good of a deal and I am very proud to say i was able to buy that car at 18 years old while still being in high school.
V6 are just as good as V8 if you build it and make it your own. The V6 community is huge and just because it doesn't have 8 cylinders doesn't mean that it can't be worked on and given the respect that it deserves. was always a part of the mustang car culture but officially joined 3 weeks ago with my very first sports car as a 2005 Mustang v6 (wish i got a GT Honestly) 5 spd manual with leather. one of my favorite mustangs & ive driven tons of friends' mustangs.
Sally is looking great, just bought an 08 GT Premium 31k miles, Whipple supercharger, with long tube headers and straight pipes to Mac a exhaust and Shelby Wheels. Awesome sound and plenty of kick . Mint condition for 18.5k . Had an04 Cobra but this one kicks ass too

I have gt 2007 and it’s over 3 hundred thousand km and it’s still rocking and I’m so happy with it
It's a nice car, I had a 2007 gt brand new. I traded it in for 2013 gt then traded that in for a 2017 gt/cs . My 07 gt had straight pipe,and it sounded wicked. I traded it in because I had every bolt on and had trouble beating the 2011-2017 GTs stock, unless the driver was a bad driver.lol. Even with a power adder it can only beat stock 5.0s but not some with some serious bolt ons. I loved it though. Thinking of buying another one as a daily driver.

I was able to get an '06 V6 with a 5 spd MT. Changes the entire character of the 4.0 boat anchor!

I drive a 99 3000gt base that gets 7 mpg. I was scared when you said yours was bad. Then I saw it was 140% better than mine. Definitely a car with a sparkle to me. 😍

What do you do about the paint on the hood flaking up? If you’ve had that problem. I have an 07 and that has been my biggest issue with the car. Solving it has been a constant struggle.

Love my 05❤ I have Pypes x pipe with Pypes violater mufflers. Hurst short throw stick. Double strut tower brace. JLT cold air with SCT tune. Nitto 555 275/35/r18 front, 295/45/r18 rear. About to add adjustable pan hard bar, upper link and lowers. As well as drilled rotors to name a few things.
4.6L sounds damn good. I have a 3.7 full exhaust bolt ons and tune but will never sound like an amazing 4.6l v8. 05-09 GT will always be one of my favs

He is not lying about the mod bug. I started with the Borla axel backs 4 years ago and ended up with a Vortech v3 SL high output kit from Brendspeed pushing 450 hp on a conservative tune. Looking forward to forge the bottom end to be a part of the 500 wheel club. Its been a journey getting to where its at now but I have loved every step of the way. Mod it for McQueen!
Just bought one yesterday, I got an 07 Shelby GT. I also beforehand had the same year V6 a year before. I always enjoy them everytime. I got mine for $6200.

Nate, You are fun to watch. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Today Intercity delivered my 2007 GT500. It is 100% stock, with 2,350 miles from the factory. My Bolra stingers will be instaled by me as soon as they arrive, which should be in a couple of days. Keep up the excellent videos! Greg

I bought my white, with blue stripes, GT500 in an online auction and the guy with the big money "was not in the room." As to not devalue yours and all the others out there, let's just say I got a good deal! :-) BTW, I went to my friends at the local smog station and it wouldn't pass. Since it sat for so long and the battery died, my beast needs to be driven for a bit so the on-board computers clear all of the codes. If it ain't one thing its another. :-)
Also, my DD is a graphite, 2013 BRZ Limited, which I HAD to go out of California (Nevada) to buy in August of 2012. I did that because my delivery date was in December and I couldn't wait! I listened to dozens and dozens of CZcams clips to find the right exhaust note for me. With my GT500 I did the something and came across your clips. No doubt the Borla Stingers will sound awesome! From tracking the UPS shipment, I see they should arrive today, if not tomorrow.
One more thing. I have a yellow 2002, S2000 with 40,400 miles, all stock except for the cat-back Tanabe exhaust. I put those on as Borla quit making exhausts for the S2000 since Honda longer manufactures the S2000. I couldn't find a deal on the few NOS Borlas that were out there in Google Land. In retrospect, I screwed-up and should have paid full retail for the Borla system. Nothing wrong with the high quality Tanabe, it doesn't have the note I now know Borla has. Oh well, live and learn. :-)

Love my 09 3 valve ,bought it back in December 37000 miles Jack Roushe suspension ,rear spoiler ,and exhaust custom tune from TruDyno with cold air intake, oh and glass top 45th anniversary edition for 16000.00.
Bought an 07 GT, 5spd. The car, bone stock, has plenty of power to get you in trouble and have fun with. My first car was a 67 coupe, later owned a 68 coupe and 68 fastback. The 05-09 are the best throwback if that's what you're after. I found a 1 owner, 48k mile all stock car. Plan on keeping it stock for some time. Also, this is my first manual vehicle. It's so much fun while learning.
So I just purchased a 2005 V6 stock Mustang for $3000. The previous owner did no upgrades period! I can't wait to start spoiling her and fixing her up. Im no mechanic so I'm happy to know that they are easy to work on as I'll be getting hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself. I want to learn so I'll be looking on your channel. I know it's 2020 but, I'm grateful for channel's like yours to refer to. Thank you!

Back in the day my first car was a 65 2+2, 289 w the Cobra kit. Life happened, got married, bought houses, yada yada so of course I sold my first love 😢
Fast forward, I’m 73 freekin years old and I find an 08 GT with 18k on her. The guy never drove it except to car shows, no rain/snow. Shorty headers, flowmaster cat backs, five speed, perfect. My mechanic puts it on the lift and he starts laughing as he calls me over...points to the undercarriage and every Ford part stickers are still there....im in love....oh yeah the best part was I got her for 15K, guy had to sell to pay for his son’s wedding.....

I just bought an 09 mustang v6 with 130k miles for 5k. The owners took care of it well as they were mustang owners themselves having 2 other GTs. The only thing is the thermostat but I just bought a metal one so going to DIY it myself ! Excited !

@@mattb9839 it entirely depends your experience. What's fast to some is crawling to others. Mine's a manual V8. If I hit the gears right it hits 60 in a breath. It's no competitive drag racer but it's all the speed you'll need for a regular fast-lane commute and more. A few times I've found myself drifting down the freeway at 100 mph without realizing it. Haha.

I have owned four classic mustangs my first car was a 1967 then in Santa Barbara I owned a 1965 fastback canary yellow with ladder bars 302 then I owned a 1964 and a half notch back prairie bronze with the 289 on the floor I also had a 1989 Fox body 5.0 but I just recently purchased a '08 mustang candy apple red it is the funnest car I have ever owned in my life I have also owned a Corvette corvair mg's Ford trucks so that is saying a lot this car is fast it looks beautiful I also just purchased the side window louvers and it looks fantastic I had them painted to match the car

Recently bought a 2007 GT with 109k miles. The acceleration is nice stock. I look to mod it up like I had my 1996 tbird SVT.
I like the video. I would consider buying an 05 to 09. But since they are 10 ten years old, and a lot of them are going to be hard to found that is not neglected and low miles. I still have a crush on the bodies. I hope to ride with you along side my 2020 Mustang GT.
That is very true. It definitely is hard to find one with low miles and in excellent condition, but that doesn't mean that you can have a project car to take a bad 05-09 mustang and make it into something great! Me too, I hope to ride a long with all my subscribers one day
Very nice. I have a 09 4.0 v6 mustang with a k&n cai , sr tbs spacer, screamin demon coil pack, mid x pypes true dual exhaust and a bama tuner 91 oct tune. My next part will be a complete turbo kit from mrt perf. Then i will work on getting a saleen body kit.

I had an 05 Mustang and was deciding whether to get another 05-09 or a 14 Coyote. We decided to get the 14 Coyote convertible and we're picking it up tomorrow. Maybe in the future, I'll buy an 05 and make it a project car.

I'm running BBK shorties with matching hi flow x pipe and roush axle backs. Soon to up it to pipes long tubes with o/r h pipe.
How do you like the shorties? do they give power
Nate Rider I honestly don't know. I bought the car with it on but I would imagine little to no power gain with the shorties alone. But to answer your question I would opt out for long tubes just because they will serve my purpose more for my build.

Hey Nate, i bought a red 05 Mustang GT convertible a year ago and made the HUGE mistake of selling, i realized what i had lost and how much i loved it AND MISSED IT, so the next summer went out and bought a 07 GT convertible. Its got more mods, lower miles and all around better car and i will NEVER sell it!.
My '05 GT Convertable has gotten up to 31 MPG (68 MPH on Cruise) on I80 in Wyoming. To be sure, a fairly straight road.
BTW...166688 miles as of today and still purrs.
