A kid dropped this outside my local game store, and every commander deck he had fell into a slush puddle. We spent 2 days salvaging his cards. I recommend securing the lid with something additional
Definitely something to consider when storing an entire collection of anything in one place
DeWalt makes a much beefier case than Stanley. It's got a gasket, metal clamps and an additional set of plastic clips on the sides that also allow them to stack and click together. Only about 5 bucks more. Highly recommend if you go the tool case route.

To be fair, you drop any deck box into a slush puddle then you’ve created a problem.
Nah these are trash just look for nice camera back pack just as much deck space and more room for your other things
I can back this up. This is probably the best deck box ever, especially for just 20$. The only downside I would say it has is that it can get a bit heavy, but that's just because literally all of my decks are in there.
Bruh those are made for screws, and washers. You cannot tell me that it getting heavy because of your cards is a downside…
I’ve had 10plus EDH Decks for like 2 years now n haven’t found a case good enough. Bought 2 of these yesterday and they are perfect.
I got the DeWalt brand because it has extra clips that allow me to stack together multiple cases.
the milwaukee one has that as well but this one is the most perfered cause of the shape of the compartments, the downsides of the Milwaukee was its awkward corners which made many fear it might cause minor damage to the cards corners along witht he bottom having a raised square in the bottom to kept keep it in place.

Definitely don't recommend the DeWalt brand because the corners of the compartments will dog ear your card sleeves.
I'm with you, it's by far the best case :) it's very robust, everything is locked safe in place, for its size it's handy and I never had a problem or even the fear of cards falling out. Great product for an unbeatable price. Got mine for about 2 years and it still looks like it's new.
I have 22 comander decks I carry around in a backpack in a bunch of fat pack boxes
Some variants have a dimple on the bottom of the yellow containers, if you're not putting your decks into a deckbox inside, put a waste card (basic land) on the bottom as a protective filler.
Overtime, the weight of the cards can push themselves onto the dimple, leaving an eraserhead-sized indentation on your card that's on the bottom.

Having used several of these for tools, I would never leave loose cards or loose anything in one. Those latches mean nothing when it comes to drops, which would regularly undo the latches.
Thank you for this recommendation it’s honestly the best box I’ve ever gotten. I had several dragon shield large capacity boxes and they always came apart after a year of play this thing however is amazing. Much appreciated keep up the great work.
Where did you buy it from. Everywhere I look is says sold out or out of stock.
I've been using these cases for a few years now and the other weekend I accidentally left the case on my trunk as I drove off. First corner I took the case slid off and hit the ground; almost ZERO damage and all of my cards were totally find. Highly recommend these cases to anyone interested in them.
I have the chunkier version of this with 2 more slots and with aluminum handle and latches. It's amazing and very cheap for what it does.

Been using this box for over 5 years now. Got it at home depot for $15 and it's the best deck box I've ever had.

I use a briefcase with space for like 16 decks, I use to haul it around it weighed about 15 pounds.
Thing was old and I still use it but man has using it like that beaten it down, I carry about 8 years worth of magic in it.
I have over sixty four decks with about 14 more planned. I use PerforMax brand organizers as I personally don't want large compartments like the ones a Stanley has. PerforMax are all single sized, plus the handle design makes it where the grip won't pop off due to the weight while carrying it, which I have experienced with Stanley.
I have had mine for 3 years now. Love it.
I've been using it for years, it's great. When I was at the store I opened up two of them and switched out the containers so mine could fit ten decks lol.
Did the same thing but it actually has 12 compartments not 10 after you switch out both of the large boxes

The rigid is amazing. Waterproof, shock proof, you can literally drive a pickup over it. And it holds boxes snugly.
I keep my decks in Milwaukee's 3 drawer packout. But for travel this is what I have been using since Kaldheim. Great case!
One thing to mention if you're going out to but it is that there's another one that looks exactly like it, but the corners are flattened instead of pointed. It holds less cards and can't fit a deck box so be sure to look at the corners.
Ive had this for about 4 years now and honestly the best purchase for carrying decks and dice.
Worth every penny. Except its water resistant not proof so stick a sick filled with rice in it to keep moisture down in the case itself.
Do keep in mind when looking at these that the boxes inside are square and don't have rounded corners

I have a similar type, differnt brand but it works beautifully. The larger compartments even held my Planeschase cards too. 🎉
.30 cal steel ammo can fit a good size amount of cards seals itself with a rubber gasket making it waterproof xD
I've been using my storage case way before the prof had suggested it and I've upgraded to one that's even better and since been discontinued I'm told.
I have mine in a backpack from Amazon. It's a surprisingly heavy but it carries all 13 of my decks
Use the DeWalt one it's much more secure and can be stacked infinitely
Highly recommend it it is far cheaper than all the other boxes that offer the same storage (not counting some really horrible ones made by wotc) it holds 3600 unsleeved cards and 1200 double sleeved cards.
there was a small time mtg youtuber who recommended this case before the professor from way back when, but anyway, yeah, it's great. Every time I'm in Home Depot for paint or lightbulbs or whatever, I make sure to pick up a Stanley box for me cards! I have a bunch of 'em, turn 'em into color commander kit organization tools, you can even remove a row of boxes for a playmat. The customization is great!
Those Stanley boxes aren't really around anymore and they're not cheap when you do find them. So if you're wanting to find one and Yellow isn't your color the "Performax 12-Compartment Deep Adjustable Small Parts Organizer" at Menards is the exact same thing but all the compartments are the same and it's Grey and Black at around $15. I tried finding that Stanley box after the Professor's video and failed and this is what I've been using and it's been great!
I personally own one of these for my decks! I absolutely love them. Seeing the hundred card deck boxes is something I would consider upgrading to for each tray as I have loaded the entire thing up with Commander decks and some of them are difficult to take out
I hunted one of these bad boys down, went to several Home Depots to find one. Love this thing.
The DeWalt case is better and comes with 2 and their stackable and the bottom has wheels for traveling on the go. Fits in the carrying on sections above you compartment
I have a medium sized Rigid bag. Granted I bought and entire circular saw that it originally was supposed to go in. But since I already a place for that saw in my shop, the bag had no use and thus became my carrying bag. I just use the standard clear Ultra Pro case that are like $1 at your LGS. It holds my dice 12 decks. 1 fat with random commander cards, my binder of goodies and 2 play mats. It works great, and it's a little bit smaller than the Stanley
My friend Dylan used one of these in the mid 2000s for cards, before commander existed.
Buy 2. Swap the larger tray for small ones and u can carry 12 decks and the 2nd I use for bulk storage

Get the Harbor Freight version for less than half the price.
Got one 3 month into the game, add a plastic tube next to it for the mat and that's it. I told myself "if I can't carry it on the case, I will not build more decks" It works +/_

Just got mine. You gave to order it from Home Depot online here I'm Canada, but it's $35 CDN and is *weirdly* perfect for commander decks. The larger centre compartments even hold 3 of those cheap plastic 60 card boxes so I bring my Oathbreakers with me just in case anyone else still remembers it exists.
@Tiago Thinks there is a tiny round mold bump in the middle of each cup. I generally put my cards in side ways and haven't oticed any damage resulting from it, but it is there.
@Tiago Thinks happy to help! I was just going to suggest that, might even do it myself. They're deep enough that you could lose an inch and still have room for your cards. I've had it for 5 or 6 months now and it's still holding up excellently
I leave the middle compartments out to make space for two playmats. 5 decks and space for dice and tokens.
I have two of these to store cards in. I move a lot and they are a beautiful thing

I have three of them and they are amazing. If any card game company had created this, it would be less durable and at least 3-4x more expensive.

I have it also it's great I use the back row for my play matt's I mean you do lose a row but it holds the 2 Matt holder.

I have a few friends who use this case, the only reason I don’t is the quantity of decks it can carry. I have a deck for every color combination and some duplicates, so that’s 32+ decks… this can’t hold that many so I don’t use it, I have a bunch of those boxes that hold 6 decks in a row and the gift bundle boxes that can hold 3 each, with some of the more expensive decks in single deck boxes

why carries 10 decks when actually you would have time to play only for 1-2 decks per day.
I'm always worried about packing so much value into a single box, don't think i'd take more than a handful of decks out at a time. Mind are all stored on top of the wardrobe in a variety of gamegenics when not in use, normally only have 3-4 decks down at a time.
I will say given the dimple in the bottom if the slots qnd the dimples holding them in place at the top, you really should store them sideways and not flat

I have one myself but I will say, it was VERY hard to find when I was looking. I live in Canada so maybe that’s part of it? Not sure. Either way I swear by it, extremes worth the work and the $28 I paid for it.

Ok so I had the 10 compartment one and it finally broke on me because of the sheer abuse that thing took but I don’t want to waste the 30 on the new one. Would buying the 25 compartment one and just swapping the tiny boxes from there with the big boxes from my original box work ? Would it fix ?

These suck tbh I’ll stick with my gamegenic mega case lol was $100 tax in (🇨🇦pricing) can fit 6 double sleeved commander decks and two 60 cards (non doubled) I just have my pauper deck in it has 2 dice compartments 2 compartments for tokens and the lid is a fold over magnetic lid that doubles as a dice rolling spot (for rolls in dnd) best purchase ever
(Ok saying these suck is a biased opinion and its a great affordable option and I’m no way trying to price shame or anything)
