Davie might be the untouchable god of CZcams, actually. Everyone who's worked with him says he's adorable, very patient, gifted and generous. He succeeded fairly, he never sold out, he just continued to be himself and he never fell in the trap of fame and pretentiousness

I'm so curious to see how the live concert comes off next month in Singapore! Davie is so known for just being a "bedroom CZcamsr" it's going to be really interesting what he comes up with with TwoSet. A smart partnership. They've done both big virtual concerts and most recently the big livestream with the Singapore Symphony so there;'s some basis, but really this is new territory for both channels. Davie could have never left his room and he's still a legend, so it's cool to see him taking a risk and pushing his envelope.

Great collection of Davey clips, seeing him evolve as a bassist and as a character has been hilarious and awesome. My favourite clip of his is still him taking on Joel's challenge of playing the "programmed bass" of Sparkee's NuDisco Remix of 'Strobe'.

I came to your channel back in the days you two battled each other, i can say i met many musicians through his collabs/battles like lukas brar, rob scallon, charles berthoud, daniel thrasher, two set and many more. He kinda united the youtube musicians by declaring war on each of them.

As a bassist, I found a video of him doing "the 100 amazing bass lines" in one take and I favourited it. Years later he appeared on my timeline with when he started to do the meme stuff. Later, he started irritating me, but he did launch Charles Berthoud's career.
