The fact that the Bionic Commando grapple-and-swing mechanic is achievable on NES hardware never fails to impress me. Whoever programmed Rockin' Katz deserves a high-five, regardless of how good/bad the rest of the game is.
Interesting video. I assume all prices given are for complete in box an not cartridge only. I only heard you mention this with the Flinstones game. It wasn't actually clear from the onscreen graphics or being said anywhere else in the video. You might want to consider for future videos to give both prices. Then your viewers will also know how much of a difference a bit of paper and cardboard makes.
These prices are taken from the price guides posted to game dude’s web site. they themselves do not specify which is why i do not either. Game dude did not post prices for little samson or flint stones as they give you a “market rate” price. for that reason i used price charting for the 2024 prices which is why the only games in the video with explicit CIB prices are Flintstones and Little Samson. At the moment little samson is currently listed as “ask” on their website which means they will make you an offer based on the market rate. They will only pay you half of what they could sell if for, so most likely they would only give you 2K. But they would be glad to SELL IT for 4500. If you have a copy of little samson to sell, i would just put it on ebay.
@@Papernails yeah, 100% that is a very good analogy. As it happens game dude is sort of a pawn shop, if you sell them stuff you have to fill out all the same paper work as you do when you pawn something (or at least you did back in teh day, I haven't actually sold anything there for years).

It came out very late in the NES’s life cycle and had a very short print run. when it came out many people had moved on to the SNES or Genesis. Because there are so few copies it commands a high price (same story with many of the games on this list where value is tied to rarity)

I can’t say i disagree, any who is paying these prices for those hanna barbera games in particular is a real moron. Little samson is a fun game, but not thousands of dollars good.
Finally someone who agrees with me on little samson. Its a decent game but not worth what ppl want. Plus its not that hard to find if ya do want a copy. So ill never understand why its so expensive
@@jarredkrum9894 i saw that about little samson, but i also paid 700 bucks for snatcher on sega CD, so i am not immune to nostalgia. realistically speaking there isn’t a game in the world with that much unless you have some sort of sentimental attachment to it . (or have more money than sense) that’s collecting though it isn’t really about making rational decisions
Hey i got games that go for several hundred but ill still play em. But ill agree theres games if i was rich id spend the money to buy and play 🤷🏻♂️. I was playing cheetah men 2 other day on an emulator but there is no way in hell id ever spend $5000 on a sealed cib copy of that game cuz the game really sucks🤣its horrible. But its funny to play cuz its so crappy lmao in my opinion a sealed cib copy of that game should be $5 not $5000 🤷🏻♂️
