I truly believe that Plug is just Arthur Aguefort after 2,000+ years and some weird fucked up dimension stuff.
I feel like Plug is too humble and softspoken to ever be related to Arthur “grew 300 feet and dragged the sun across the sky while cursing out the elven government” Aguefort

my unhinged theory is that plug is actually uncle bob. the uncle bob ai at the end of the final battle responded to margaret saying hes already dead by saying “you know when i’m gonna die? never” and plug literally said “im never gonna die because its never tomorrow” like COME ON
I just realized Plug is kinda like Principal Aguefort. Mysterious, ridiculous, functionally unkillable, confuses the hell out of the party.

I JUST noticed the signs on the hut that said "Open, until I die" and then later "Closed, unless I'm not dead"- Melina is AMAZING with these little comedic details
I just noticed Terry is in the background, which isn’t even a reference to DM20, but Brian David Gilbert’s beloved Tangela whom Kevin Puntz mercilessly took from him. Melina is a GOD at the details.

"Never can, 'cause there's never tomorrow." Is at the same time an incredibly silly thing to say but also an incredibly badasss thing to say.
i mean technically it’s also the most real thing he could ever say, our tomorrows are never really a given for any of us, we legit can die anytime, anyway, and any day, meaning for us, tomorrow would never come, it’s really making me have a huge existential crisis ngl, but at the same time makes me appreciate life a bit more, and also makes me wanna use the tomorrow joke on somebody.

@@maskedkittyMC its also nice in a way that the phrase makes you appreciate 'today'. Plug worries not what the morrow brings, for he only exists in the moment. It's never tomorrow. It's just always today.

I’m glad that Plug came back, but at the same time, “if you give me a bag of drugs you’ll never see me again,” would be a much funnier moment if it truly was the very last time they ever saw him.
Yeah, I thought if he did come back it would be as just a ball of light so they wouldn’t really ‘see’ him.

I loved the entire series of StarStruck. I especially loved Plug. The wedding scene at the end with Riva's speech was hysterical. "When five people love each other very, very much. They come together, and form an incredible and immortal bond. And for these two people to have found eachother, means that they're only three loving bonds away from the ultimate, ultimate love. Which will create 10,000 children. And i think that's really beautiful."

Riva is going to start her own planet made of Pleasure Putty for them to swim in.
Brennan's look of complete defeat at the hands of Operation Slippery Puppet lives rent free in my head. The fights this season were amazing.

As someone who would struggle with suicidal thoughts, and would literally say that I don’t expect to live tomorrow, the idea of plug saying it’s never tomorrow’s hit me weirdly hard. Crazy how a joke character’s philosophy almost brings me to the point of tears
Might be because Brennan's a philosophy major. I think that and his background with being generally knowledgeable about... well, stuff, has a huge role in everything he writes.

Plug is so special. He goes from 1 to 100 in two meetings. There’s nowhere else for him to go but exponentially more insane.

Plug is exactly that DM energy of the players choosing to focus way too much on a random NPC so you just have to keep improvising and escalating things with every interaction while things get progressively more insane.

I love the art on this one, the characters are so full of life and personality and the animation and comedic timing are just top notch. Melina Caron really nailed it.
Plug is by far one the best NPCs to come out of dimension 20.

How Sidney was drawn in this animation is absolutely adorable.
We need a full animated show if only to get more Plug. Honestly we need every campaign on D20 to have there own show. You can't tease with animatics and not have us want more!

After rewatching the shows. Fantasy High deserves a fully animated show but Unsleeping City needs to be Live Action

I love this character so much! Instead of the pcs making ridiculous characters more insane by degrees on each meeting, Brennan decided to get ahead of it and just full send right from the start. I think he learned his lesson with Gilear, and it shows in a lot of the encounters on this series.
1. There is no amount of money I wouldn't pay to see the whole series animated like this.
2. Can Plug somehow show up in every season from now on, please? 🥺

This has been my favorite animation from y'all since it came out last week on dropout, it somehow makes plug even funnier and somehow more wholesome?
The funniest part is Plug saying “All will be explained in time” because absolutely nothing about what happened that day was explained in time

The facial expressions, especially on Syd, are SO GOOD on this one.
The Easter eggs in this one that I’ve seen are amazing! Game Changer sign, the Questing Blade, and the sign for Uncommon Knowledge, Pete’s bookstore in Unsleeping City.
I wonder if the written symbols are a substitute for English letters like Aribesh in SW? Honestly wouldn’t surprise me with this attention to detail.
I believe the sign visible at 0:16 and 0:48 says "Clearance"

I just love this art style for "Starstruck." It fits all of the characters so perfectly.
Love the Disney Princess-meets-Westworld look to Sid in this animation. Definitely a great look to bring one of my all-time favorite characters to life!
the artist did SUCH an incredible job on this, I adore how everyone is drawn and the expressions + mouth animations are SO good!
That ending is honestly so perfect! I love how the Dimension 20 crew are so good at creating really impactful dynamic moments even from some of the smallest things
Truly, I need a full animated series in this style (amazing Melina Caron!!) if only for Barry Six constantly crying. I am in love. The emotions are so big and beautiful

Starstruck is my favorite D20 campaign. Even though I've watched it like, at least a dozen times, I still get chills during certain bits, including the latter half of this animation XD Well done on all fronts.
