- Brief look, sound test, and ride by for the Devil carbon fiber exhaust. Even with the catalytic converter replaced with Y pipe, the sound is not crazy loud when idling and is more towards having the bass sound when the throttle is cracked open.

I don't think this can directly fit to the new 2014 model, maybe some bracket needed as the rear peg position is different on the 2014. For this model it's MYR 3200.

At 180 cm it's more than comfortable, but you might want to check the leg room clearance while on the foot pegs though. I'm 169 cm. Thanks for viewing!

i just did the same using a custom y-pipe but also removed the 3 catalytic converter ,i also installed a pcv but still i have a occasional loud pops during decel.
Since you have removed the cat and installed PV 5, I would recommend getting your tuner to check on those pops during deceleration and adjust the tuning if needed.

thanks bro for the suggestion,im already on schedule for dyno tuning the bike, but is it really recommended to disable the kleen air line accdg to z1000 blog all i have to do is just block the rubber line with a plug or marble then put it back on place.

Kleen air line? I don't think he did. Just a custom Y pipe and Devil exhaust. Header is stock.

Does the windshield though small do any good concerning wind protection? Maybe not a huge difference but does it make some?
That OEM screen is just for design, it does not deflect any wind away from the rider.

Can't recall the exact price, but was definitely MYR 3K plus.
ive always like a naked bike, problem being, theres not much 4 cylinders sub-1 liter naked anymore, seems like theres only kawasaki z800 and honda cb650f for new models ?

Personally I like my old 2011 Z1000 if I had to choose. The Z900 is fine but the lowered seat is not for me.

I believe so, since they have to chop your original pipes to remove the cat and install the Y pipe, which is considered as a modification.

A 250cc would be a good beginner bike, not saying you can't start on a 1043cc bike, as long as you practice restrain and build up your riding skills to handle such power and torque. RSSR!
no, obviously the smaller cc the better it is for beginner, i would say first bike should be below 400cc, gain the mileage before handling more powerful bike

My Z 1k will wreck any supersport liter bike off the line...Ive put down the front end at over 104mph. I prefer my torque, comfort, and style over the supersports...the Z1000 is a work of art
