How we miss Michel Petruccianni as composer and performer !
First we have to make clear the usual genius of Petrucciani and the swing with which he played that day, but what is really out of the ordinary in this video is what Miroslav Vitous does, it is something outstanding, I really can't find it on the Jazz stage and in the catalog of bassists something equivalent to this, Miroslav is simply a double bass phenomenon, a monster of a musician, well, and Steve Gadd, may God rest him!
Primero hay dejar claro la genialidad acostumbrada de Petrucciani y el swing con que tocó ese día, pero lo realmente fuera de derie en este video es lo que hace Miroslav Vitous, es algo sobresaliente, realmente no encuentro en el escenario del Jazz y en el catalogo de bajistas algo equivalente a esto, Miroslav es sencillamente un fenómeno del contrabajo, un monstruo de músico, bueno, y Steve Gadd, que Dios lo tenga en su gloria!

Quel trio...Quelle communion, les regards se croisent, les sourires sont sur les lèvres... On communie...Chacun est à sa partition mais se rejoint après son chorus....Une Belle et chaleureuse version.... Une de celle qu’on écoute et qu’on écoute encore et encore.... Et là je me dis... Le mot Musique prend tout son sens .. avec une majuscule M comme .... Beau moment.... Merci....
Quoi qu'en disait Michel il y du génie là-dedans, quelles harmonies, quel phrasé, quel touché ! Impressionnant.

Could someone anyone please help me find this full concert :( the video on youtube was deleted and it broke my heart the account was terminated. This brught me so much joy and when i go through a rough time i listen to it and this morning its gone :( specifically looking for the rendition of autumn leaves from this concert
I have the entire Michel Petrucciani discography. The Munich concert 1997 was not released on disc. Unfortunately, I have never seen the full version of the concert either on DVD or on CZcams. The 3Sat logo is visible on the recording. Maybe you should write to them, because the Germans must have archived the material. I wish we could see it all.
