This week we saw a split in the NCP as Ajit Pawar broke away and decided to join the Shinde Sena - BJP alliance which resulted in a complete U turn from our TV news anchors. While Arnab and co had questioned the Uddhav Thackeray Shiv Sena for their alliance with NCP back in 2019, this time they hailed Ajit Pawar’s alliance with the BJP as a masterstroke. We also had to suffer a lot of bad puns on the saga, as the ticker and thumbnail writers had a field day.
Meanwhile, Rubika who had announced her exit from ABP news last month, announced her two new shows on Bharat 24. Fair to say that it's not too different from her performances back at ABP as she continued to question the opposition on her new shows. It's understandable the stance that Rubika takes on her shows afterall the owner of Bharat 24 has said that they are not shy from admitting that they do give intelligent support to the ruling dispensation.

I definitely support newslaundry and have been a subscriber on and off. But it becomes a problem of affordability if you want to support multiple independent media organizations.
