RCB should make the bowling department depending on the pitch. On batting pitches, they should play Steyn on bouncy or batting pitches and Udana on slow pitches. Morris seals one foreign slot along with Finch and De Villiers.

Yes... They put so much money on Morris, but I don't think he is so bankable both with the bat & ball .. atleast his recent form suggests so. Last year they did exactly same with Woakes. Instead they could have let him go, bought Chris Jordan for 3Cr, and invested easily on May be two options of no 5-6 batsmen, like SRH did.

RCB has tendency to live with a loophole or two. Bowling in PP and death was issue last time which looks settled this time, but they don't have a proper wicket keeper batsman. Parthive can only open and once PP is over he will switch to test match mode. If you don't take Parthive RCB don't have a experience wicket keeper. All other keepers in RCB lakes experience. And who will open with Parthive? Devdutt Padikal or Finchi? Ideally this two should open but then who keep the wickets?

Delhi Capitals: The team on the paper looks good, but there is lot more to this team,Shikhar Dhawan and Mohit Sharma both will be returning from Injury, Prithvi Shaw is returning from a Ban and plus there was news of his disciplinary issues during a local match, although he is in a good form, psychologically he appears to disturbed, so it remains to be seen if he can translate the perfomance in local circuit to the international circuit. The translation of performances concern can be extrapolated to Ishanth Sharma(Predominantly playing test), Axar Patel, Harshal Patel,Avesh Khan, Amit Mishra,Ravi Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane(although all are talented). Rishabh Pant has been out of form for while , although it appeared he has partially regained his composure and form during the last ODI vs WI(it remains to be seen how he will perform). Sandeep Lamichanne, has become quite predictiable in this season of BBL where he has been taken for runs until now, as well as it was the case in the previous season. Chris Woakes, Marcus Stoinis are good additions, it remains to be seen if they would adapt to the Indian conditions which could be correlated to the performances of Colin Munro and Colin Ingram last season of IPL. The same could be told for Alex Carey on his adaptability to Indian Conditions, so that he can support the middle order along with the likes of Marcus Stoinis. But Inclusion of Alex Carrey becomes a question as Delhi has a full time keeper in Rishabh Pant leading us to believe that he has been taken as a back up keeper and mostly as a middle order batsman. It also remains to be seen if Hetmeyer could translate his performances in the recent ODI's vs India to the IPL. I'm not aware of both Tushar Despande and Lalit Yadav, how much they can perform at this level, so according to me they will serve as the X-factor for the team this season. Overall, if the core of the team come together they can thrive and go on to qualify in the top 4 or else it would be just a repetition of what had occured in years before 2019 of IPL :). Kagiso Rabada, Keemo Paul and Shreyas Iyer appear to be the lone bright spots in the lineup.
*All teams are strong on paper. It is about captaincy, management and execution!*
The problem for RCB has always been how they manage the team. Whenever a player is not performing, to replace that player they have to change the whole structure. Similar to this year's case with opening pair, they will be tempted to play Finch where Parthiv will have to be the keeper. If Parthiv doesn't perform well they will have to pick a foreign keeper and leave out Finch. That's why Uthappa was very crucial for team balance. He can open, he can bat at 3 or 4, he can be a part-time keeper and also he is a local player but I don't know why they missed that opportunity (Should have learned from KL Rahul's Case). So I hope their starting opening pair perform well.
