Do u really have any idea about mordern day T20 cricket? We need athletes and power hitters..not blockers who play at 60 strike rate and put the rest of the batters under pressure!! Have u seen pujara field? Or run in the outfield? What exactly does he offer a cricket team..this is nothing but a sympathy selection! Some kind of reward for his defensive displays in aus. That's not how merit should work..sad to see a power hitter like Shivam dube so undervalued..and people spending on pujara and karun nair!!
Pujara should leave csk and play county. He is of no use in t20. It's better if he plays county, it will be much more helpful for India when we tour England this August.

Malan is a great player but we have yet to see his performance in India. So a lot of teams have that wait and see attitude with him, if he performs, he will be one of the big names in the big auction next year.

Not really. Their main issue area, overseas pacers, has only 3 options. Two of them will have to play. Their middle order is also sorted with maxwell and christian, assuming they play well. All in all they have a decent team.

The fun, entertaining and smart era of Exxxtra Innings T20 over the years with GK, Samir Kochhar, Sunny G, Harsha Bhogle, Danny Morrison, Shibani, Archana, Rochelle, Ajay Jadeja, Siddhu paaji and few others was always as enjoyable as IPL itself unlike the cringeworthy stuff Star has going on right now. Pujara had made t20 century in 2019. He had some excellent domestic tournament back in 2012 for both test odis t20s..there was a t20 back then where he made century (hitting kuldeep yadav in last over.. 2 sixes😅..) unable to find that footage ..after that he was selected for odi series against england 2012 to play at 4 and bought by rcb for ipl season 2013. he played few odi matches for ind vs bangladesh zimbabwe...later he was dropped and then he become a test specialist

hmmm.... To me, Morris for that much money is way overpriced. The guy is injury prone, is inconsistent with the bat, and often gets hit for big runs. If he was 4-5 crores, I would say that's a could value, but 16 crores is just kind of ridiculous. RCB is really banking on Maxwell. Really depends on which Maxwell turns up. If IPL Maxwell turns up, then they have the a big problem. But if the Maxwell who played the ODI's and T20I's against India in December shows up, then its a huge boost to their team. I still feel KKR's Indian batting is massively suspect. Gill is one solid guy. DK has had two ordinary seasons, and Nitesh Rana fires in like 3-4 matches out of 14 and scores single figures in the rest. Tripathi is found wanting against high quality pace. So that Indian contingent seems ordinary. Shakib is a great buy and I would play him over Narine since Varun is doing the mystery spinner job anyways. They didn't buy an Indian seamer with some experience because I don't think playing two out of Mavi, Nagarkoti, and Krishna is working for them. They are just not reliable enough to fill 8 overs. DC team looks pretty strong. I suspect that buying Smith means that they intend to play him instead of Hetmeyer. Hetmeyer was hit or miss in 2020 and the inexperienced batting stumbled in the back half of the season last year. I can see Smith slotting in ahead of Iyer to give a bit more solidity. Their first choice bowling is excellent and they have pretty decent backups. Not much to say about MI. They filled their fast bowling requirement. The side itself is already a fantastic side so they don't look like they have many issues. CSk look like a better side this time around. Moeen Ali is a very handy buy. He was underused at RCB but he is a good guy to have. They do have enough in Indian batting and allrounders that they can play both Ngidi and Hazelwood if they desire. Punjab lower order and indian fast bowling, barring Shami, are still suspect to me. SRH look like a great side with everything covered. RCB look good, but then again, they always seem to look good. They need to get their non Kohli and AB players to perform consistently.
