I recently flew with Air Asia for the first time from Bangkok to Singapore. I enjoyed their service however the seat pitch was too narrow and the legroom wasn't that great for someone 6'5 (195cm). For short-haul flights, they're great but I wouldn't fly with them for the long-haul

Dankeschön. Ich bin noch nie in Don Mueang angekommen, aber zweimal von dort abgeflogen. Bei diesem Mal, wie du bereits gesehen hast, war es eine eher schlechte Erfahrung, aber das zweite Mal war es viel besser. Kommt vermutlich darauf an zu welcher Zeit man ankommt/abfliegt.

Excellent trip report! The worm's eye view from ground level is great idea, I'll try that. The airport is really dirty , dont they clean up? How much is the air fares from BKK to KL one way or return? I plan to go there spotting.

There is actually an inflight entertainment system free for all passengers. Log in to their Rokki Wifi and there are some free information, music and videos. The selection is very limited, but it's complementary for LCC anyways.
There was no WiFi on this aircraft when I filmed this Trip Report (early 2018).

Woah, that airport didn't look very appealing. But it was a low-cost airport, so I guess you have to deal with it... But the flight seemed very solid.

Didn’t realize they only served a small cup of water on Thai Air Asia. I regularly fly with Air Asia (Malaysian one). They usually served a bottle of water along with my meal. And yes I don’t quite like all the advertisements in the cabin but I guess that’s expected on some budget Airlines. Great report though.

AirAsia's service is amazing compared to most of European low-cost carriers.
I'd argue this was the review way typical of a full service airline but on a well known/the worlds best budget airline...which clearly does not operate on a full service airline. I'd interpret your 6.9/10 rating as much higher due to this.

Flew from Chiang Mai to KL last year. Tight seats, crowded cabin and when I asked the FA for some water her reply was :2 Ringgits please”. No more Air Asia for me.
