Subhan’Allah great answer to question 2... the Hanbali option makes sense. My cousin has pink hair... and was divorced shortly after. Now she has purple hair.

Thanks. Shaykh Saheb Yasir Qhadi for your detailed answer. May Allah SWT grant you barakah. It would be more effective if you make your answer shorter. These days , especially our youths want short to the point answer and they don’t listen to long lectures.

Subhan’Allah that last question is a really good choice... I hope I’m there with mine as well insha’Allah
I have purposely not mentioned the questions so people actually watch it instead of doing meditations with silk ties around their head hoping not to see pink hair. (Just joking guys).

Other recent scholars have addressed this question of pets being in jannah with their owners and have said that animals won't be in jannah. On the day of judgment they will be brought to life and all scores will be settled (between animals) then they will be turned to dust.
    Please explain this.

Salam Shaykh Dr Yasir Qadhi, I was wondering if there was any ruling in Islam about how we kill an animal that is not being sacrificed to eat. I ask because I am a science student at university and we were learning that in one of the scientific experiments where they use mice, if you accidently insert the tube (to deliver an experimental drug) into the wind pipe rather than the food pipe of the mouse, then the mouse will end up experiencing the drowning sensation so the protocol at that point is to immediately kill the mouse 'in a humane manner' to put it out of pain. I asked the professor what that 'humane manner' was and they said the way they kill the mouse is by breaking its neck which immediately kills it. So, Islamically, is there any ruling about this?
    JazakAllahu Khairan.
