Hidden Gem in Colorado 🇺🇸 Drive With Me On The Last Dollar Road | HIGHLIGHTS Video - 4K

Join us as we drive on this adventurous detour that takes you through historic ranch country full of picturesque scenes at every turn- rolling hills, flowing streams, dense aspen tree forests, all with the jaw-dropping background of the San Juan Mountains, including the iconic Wilson’s Peak, also known as the 14er found on the classic Coors bottle.
The Last Dollar Road is a hidden, scenic dirt road that weaves its way diagonally between the paved route that connects Ridgway to Telluride revealing a side of Colorado only seen in picture books. It takes about 2-3hr and can be taken from Ridgway to Telluride or vice versa. Either way is going to be packed with stunning views that change as each season passes.
This road can be a bit bumpy, classified as a beginner-intermediate off-road trail, where 4WD is advised, although not necessary on dry days- the road is manageable with careful driving.
[Note]: Due to rainy weather days prior to our drive, trees had fallen and blocked the end of the Last Dollar Road - a detour that ended up gracing us with magnificent views of red rock passages until finally reaching Telluride.

Can you tell me why every house on Wilson Way, which connects to Last Dollar Rd, is for sale? EVERY house is for sale. Is there a problem living in that area?

@@beautifulplacesonearth I watched some other videos. I think it's because the road is so slow and not maintained well, and they pay an HOA fee for their RD, but it looks like it's very hard to get any where if you live there.
