MTABC || Rockaway Park Bound 2024 XD40 Xcelsior Diesel

As of recent, New Flyer has been on a roll with their 2024 XD40 deliveries, with Eastchester completing their batch of buses along with LaGuardia having half of their allotment of XD40's delivered. As a result LaGuardia has been putting these XD40's on different routes across the depot, including their SBS routes (Q53 & Q70). On Sunday March 3rd, 2024, LaGuardia decided to pullout one of their latest 2024 XD40's on the +Q53 SBS+ so I decided to record the unit as a result.
The ride was honestly really fun. Met a transit fanner while on the bus and not to mention the operator was flooring the bus along Woodhaven Boulevard & Cross Bay Boulevard, managed to get to the depot a bit earlier than the expected time, which was nice and the operated dusted a few buses that were on the Q52/Q53. The only problem was the traffic between Broadway & 75th Street and Hoffman Drive & Woodhaven Boulevard. Other than that this was definitely the best ride I've ever been on the Q53 and out of LaGuardia Depot in general.
