- Hey guys, today i will be giving you a tutorial on how to do TWO insane scythe combos. They both work really well, deal a lot of damage and it also looks really nice. Ngl bro I don’t recommend playing scythe if you just started the game it’s pretty hard to play
Just thought everyone should know that these combos and most other scythe combos are easy to dodge, so first find out how to dodge read then try these combos with dodge reads. These are pretty good combos though and if you're a beginner going against othr beginners, you should be able to do these combos without didge reads :-)
I have had a lot people telling me I need to learn to read dodges. Cheers for the help tho.
@@maddogz3696 reads arent really reads its just quickly reacting to your opponents dodge if they dodge left quickly turn left then attack them.
U can practice by yoing in training and putting the bot on random dodges so do a slight then follow them and attack after they dodge.

Friend, I really liked this video, it didn't take me long to learn the 1 combo, it took me 7 minutes to learn the 1, but can you create some combos that if the guy falls in the combo has no escape? because this first combo I’m testing and people just dodge. (Yes, the second video combo is very difficult to learn yet haha)
Well, you have to do a swifty dodge read before you hit the combo

Don't bother by the time you got it people in your rank will dodge and it'll be useless because you didn't (instead) spend your time learning dodge reads

this is just a string, besides that i would personally change no. 2 to dair, (n) slight, n light, backwards nair, sidesig. its almost the same but starts a bit different and works on higher damages. probably still wont be effective against anyone above gold tho.

i felt like crying when watching this bc it would take me HOURS to get this to properly combo in training against a still dumby let alone a MOVING person.. i’m pretty new to the scythe tho, practice makes perfect

For the first string mirage would be batter due to her damage in her ssig and the range of it can go further than Artemis, also he dex is higher so her dig is more likely to hit

I made one myself too and it's zero to death but you need to go next to the edge and now the combo is neutral light, jump, nair but move the enemy to the right, chase dodge to the right, dair, move towards the enemy a little, nair, and then recovery.
This uses little resources as possible.

these are simple compared to platinum strings, also you have a chance to dodge out of any of the moves so this would only work in silver or below. where people can’t dodge, nice video though.

i got a question. at 2:22 You said that you gotta do a dash to make it to the enemy in time but when i try its putting me in a chase dodge animation or sometimes an upwards dash animation when i’m clearly pushing the stick right. am i going to fast or is this patched?

You mean strings? Combos are ‘true’ and the opponent would not be able to dodge through it

Some random Person what you just said makes no sense. Combos vs true combos is just semantics. They mean the same thing, something you can’t dodge. Strings are dodgeable.
