Summary:
Tip 1:
Learn every single true-combo on your legend/two main weapons.
Tip 2:
Play ranked. You should be playing ranked atleast 5 matches a day to gradually get rid of your ranked-anxiety.
Tip 3:
Play/spar with your friends who are better or equally as good as you in custom games.
Tip 4:
Practice your movement as much as possible, techs like dash-dancing, back-dashing, dash-jumping, ledge-cancelling etc.
Tip 5:
After you hit a true-combo, instead of going for a string attempt wait for them to dodge (if they have a dodge) and then react to it.
Tip 6:
When you want to improve at the game, you should only focus on one aspect of your gameplay. "improving 1 thing everyday for a year equals 365 different improved things" ;)
Tip 7:
Play the best character for the weapon you enjoy the most. (for example if you like gauntlets use rayman or val)
Tip 8:
A cool way to warmup before playing ranked or in a tournament is to go into coach party, add a difficult bot, set stocks to 1, and try your best to defeat the bot without getting hit once.
(to make it even more challenging, restart the game everytime the bot hits you)
Tip 9:
Similar to Tip 8, you can play the bubble tag game against a difficult bot.
Tip 10:
Use cross-over skins. "They are pay to win" -Cosolix
Tip 11:
When playing a game, stay focused and play like your life is on the line. Treating this game seriously is the mindset you need to improve.
Tip 12:
Have a game plan for every situation. work on your decision-making. (a.k.a don't make bad decisions)
Cosolix mentions that a good game plan is to only go for attacks if it's a guaranteed punish or you cannot get punished, and anything inbetween the two is a mistake.
Tip 13:
When playing 2's, you should have the anchor - monkey game plan.
The monkey is the player that goes in and tries to win neutral and think about nothing else.
The anchor is the player that covers for the monkey, punish-for-punish.
Tip 14:
Enter as many tournaments as possible.
Tip 15:
Shows you how to set up the training-mode to practice combos
Tip 16:
Turn off the secondary servers.
Tip 17:
Talks about launch options and using the tech-test
The launch options that you need are:
-high -framefixunbounded
Tip 18:
I guess it's similar to Tip 12, talks about decision-making and what you did wrong + how to fix it.
Tip 19:
Mentality tip, Don't be mad when you lose, just go next. What really matters is that you tried your best.
Tip 20:
Your current ranked ELO doesn't matter, what matters is your peak ELO.

The thing I love about brawl is that I don’t get ranked anxiety. I can climb just as easily as I fall and I see ranked as playing on my skill level opposed to experimental where I play against someone twice my skill level
this season i just started like 1hours ago, i was on 1331, but now im sitting on 1440/1460, last season i peaked at 1397 most likely bc im still new and i started last season on the 12th week etc. the strat i did for people who are tryna get to gold is u do what cosolixx said(play 5games eachday) but i added one thing to his strat for getting better/elo, i made sure that once i lose 1game im done grinding rank, so that next time i grind my mind should be on the right track. just now i was peaking at 1460 which is good in my eyes since im still noob but i did end up losing a game which lost me 20elo but idm it was 1game so i made profit but yo

This is true with every competitive game. If you lose, either you do not care at all, and keep playing for fun. Or you stop playing, to save yourself the stress.

You have 2 of the easiest weapons for neutral
Literally the easiest possible thing to do in brawlhalla is win neutral with koji
Yall know bow and sword still have to play neutral even if they can win it easier than other weapons right
The weapon makes it easier but the skill is still needed

The biggest one for sure is the play 5 games of ranked. I have big ranked anxiety and just can not bring myself to play the mode
Huh I never realized that sarming up in a game actually helped. I made fun of my friends for saying “I didn’t warm up” I won’t be apologizing to them but I’ll keep this in mind

How do you dash dance so fast without dodging? I can't and it's even harder for me on keyboard than controller. That's why I use controller. And also, Did you know that if you click the arrow on the bottom left of your screen then click Bluetooth. Then you click on add a Bluetooth device. Add Bluetooth or Other Device. Bluetooth on the top. Hold the circle on the top of your Xbox controller. Then it will actually parry your controller through Bluetooth and let you play Brawlhalla or any other game you want for PC only. But be aware, You might not have it and if you do have it the controller battery percent goes down. Like right now mine is at 70%.

The hard bot dodges every second 💀 so hard to not get hit the chosen bot is easier to not get hit by ngl
Late but don’t try to string on bots. Just use single attacks and punish their attacks
U cant avoid the counter of perfect dodge tht much tho7:00 its like a turn over instantly if perfect dodged
To me the second tip is useless ranked is where in my option u don't have fun
So my favorite weapon is blasters but my main is scarlet.
Instructions unclear, I watched and applied and got bodied 7 games in a row. 2 right knuckles and a controller are now broken

Well I've hit diamond unarmed only and played other legends (not lance) to 2500 ELO so I would say I am more than qualified
