Everytime I see this scene I cry because I think of my husband and how I would feel if I lost his sharp wit, his daft jokes, his cheeky remarks, and how I would do everything in the world to make him proud and happy. And I thank God that he is still with me and he is healthy and even though he works so far away we only see each other on weekends, I am glad he is here and so thankful. If you find love, do let them go if they need to, but keep them in your heart, because they will never truly leave for as long as you love them.
I have re watched this movie so many times. It's so beautiful, moving and just puts me in such a great mood. But the ending is so devastatingly heartbreaking 😢😢😢😭😭😭😭 I understand why Will did it, but it still feels so bittersweet. What a gem of a movie! Thanks for uploading this great last scene 💜👌🏻
@@unknown.1043 that is your personal opinion. However i strongly suggest you reflwct on it and try to see ot from the other person's point of view. He was in so much pain, so much regret over what he lost that he felt he could no longer find a will to live, even for her. We have a right to live, we do not have a duty to live. @@333invitado Yes, but can’t we all agree that suicide is a path we should never ought to choose? No matter the depths of despair one may face, nothing justifies the irreversible act of extinguishing their own light. Each life, including yours, holds an irreplaceable value. You are not a mere existence, but a testament to the beauty and complexity of human experience. Your presence in this vast universe is not accidental, you are a marvel of consciousness, capable of love, sorrow, growth, and transformation. It’s what makes us special in the face of this world full of uncertainties that we’re born into. To willingly relinquish your life, especially in the face of adversity, is to deny the incredible potential within you. Now I know that nothing is simple in life but no circumstance, however dire, warrants committing suicide. But yeah sure, I get it. To each their own. Apparently, even when it comes to something like suicide.
Please, you should watch the movie! And if you have time, don’t forget to read the book. You might ask why read the book after you’ve watched the movie, but I did and the small trash bin next to my desk was filled with tissues.
I have tought that because of the love she giving just the way who he is, will changes his mind to get to a life with his love of his new life with a whailchare.....but the end was so sad, only cried😔
He was extremely selfish. He didn’t care about her at all. If he did, he would’ve understood what his choice meant. He chose to die while fully knowing the immeasurably pain that he would cause her. He fully knew that his memory would always haunt and plague her no matter what she does and no matter how much time passes yet still he chose to commit suicide. He was a horrible individual and there is no happy ending to this movie.
The last lines of this letter ....damn. gets me every time.
James 3:8-10 but honestly
This is the only book & Movie that made me cry so much!
i cried for like a hour watching this movie

What he did was selfish and horrible. You don’t get to choose whether you end your own life or not. Suicide is wrong!

So how exactly did he die? Like they put him to sleep? They through him off the roof? They shut off his brain? I want to know details
It was assisted suicide. It's never described how it was done
Euthanasia i guess
@Nathaniel is there some clinic that does that?
@@liu3chan yup, they mentioned it in the movie, its an actual organization call dignitas, they basically help disabled people end their life.
I haven’t watched the movie. Did will die in this movie?
Fuck yes

Exactly
He had her fall in love with him and then just abandoned her
