Being Born and Raised in Rock Hall it feels good to see boat docking be recognized. My favorite Holiday of the year.

@watermansramblings4192 Sarcasm. Boaters are arrogantly slow on purpose, it's incredibly annoying. I don't dock like this but I sure as hell don't take 20 minutes to get my boats out, I have two. 3 minutes tops. Drop off someone to get the trailer, drive it on, strap, chain, out. Done deal.
Are your direct drive transmissions hydraulic or mechanical?
If hydraulic they’ve got clutch packs, if mechanical would be pretty hard on them shifting like in the video
Wow! In Scottsdale/Phoenix Arizona we got bull riding…monster trucks 🛻.. dirt bikes… horse 🐎 riding on south mountain…. And tubing down the salt river….. but not boat docking! Looks fun as fck!!!! I love how many people came out to witness this event ❤❤❤❤

Most Eastern Shore/Chesapeake Bay thang ever! I was born and raised on Eastern Shore - I now live in Baltimore. One time, after both of my parents passed so I didn't need to go "home" on a regular basis, I was away for 3 years straight. When I finally went downty ocean, I just plain cried after I crossed the Bay Bridge. The smells, the horizon, the birds, soybean fields, corn fields...truly god's country. ❤❤ i don't know how you do it being so far away.

Back in the early 90's when I lived on Kent Island, I loved to watch these guys show their stuff when they did a contest like this at the Kent Narrows.

Had a 28’ boat. Never trusted myself to dock it. Then got a 22’ aluminum w/outboard. Never had an issue. Just my nerves I guess. Dungee, prawns, salmon, and halibut galore!

What's everyone so excited about, this is the way I dock my 30 ft cabin cruiser every time I pull into the marina, as a matter of fact, I get the same reaction, my wife thinks they are all yelling at me, but I knew they were cheering...
There's really nothing like a docking contest.
I didn't know this was a think till right now. I've seen plenty of car parking comps and drifting technical comps but not boats at an actual dock.
