I'm in the process of changing the speakers of my 2002 Oddysey, too. The 6 1/2" speakers fit in the front door? I bought 5.25" for it because I thought it wouldn't fit.

Did you have the default stereo or did you swap it, also if you had the default stereo did it deliver enough power to make the speakers sound loud enough

Had the same stereo, for the speakers only being changed they sound good but if i blast the volume to max then speakers will start to distort

did u buy the right size for the rear ones

Yes, there the same size but since the magnet in the rear are bigger you do need to cut some plastic off to fit flush
