Thank you for posting. I like this machine and this is a helpful video for me to make a decide on machines.😎
I am so glad it was helpful! The 301's are fantastic and the handle on top is just icing on the cake!
I'm here because Bob sent me - said you do deep dives and really, really good work. This looks gorgeous and even though it's sold I just love seeing beautiful machines! I'm glad Bob recommended you. (Subbed too!!) :-) (Have to edit to add that getting your tension so bang-on that you get perfect corners top and bottom even on 16 layers is really, really impressive.)
Thank you, Bob is a true gem. I love seeing (and hearing) all these machines and getting the tension right…so rewarding! Thank you for subscribing!
It's a sister of my 301A. She was made in Andersonville in 1954 too.
This was a beautiful 301A, it went to a very nice customer. How cool you have one of its sisters!
If I was someone 'BIG' at the BBC I'd have you filming a whole series ! Instead of which I'm a man who makes leathergoods using a 331K4 industrial which is also built like a tank !
My two-tone one came from a high school with everything including the zigzaga r
I heard that some of the schools used to use the older Singers for classes. What a neat thing to acquire!
@@SewingMachineRehab yes some people in that school learned how to sew on a 301.. has the high school name and it says sewing room on the trapezoid case but it wasn't used that much.
I have a NA124799!! Has been in the family for all these years. Mint condition. I am a novvice and trying to teach myself. Quite a struggle for now hoping to become expert.
How neat! One step at a time and you will get there!
Is it expensive to do a full restore on the 301?
Hi! It depends on the condition of the machine when I start. Some take more time that others. If you would like to know more you can email me at jen@sewingmachinerehab.com and send a couple pictures of the machine. I can give you a better idea of cost that way. Thanks for watching!
OK, thank for getting back to me!
