Every little helps, so if the Russians want to destroy their aircraft, who are we to argue. Although I suspect, they shot the SU-27 down to prevent it being downed by Ukraine. Apparently, for them, the former scenario is less embarrassing.

You have no idea about warfare, friendly fire is a common occurrence on the battlefield. During the Vietnam war, so many U.S fighters were lost from friendly fire. NO aircraft were to be engaged beyond visual range. Rendering there latest F5 fighters useless because it was only equipped with sidewinders

Ukrainian eggs are beautiful, decades ago I seen some Ukrainian eggs which were made in Canada. The egg making craft had been passed down by their ancestors who had immigrated to Canada before and after WW1.

We all say *"Slava UKRAINI"* because we have taken the time to learn how to say it correctly in order to show respect for the heroes and defenders of Ukraine.
You can also just say "Glory to Ukraine" (in English) if you do NOT want to learn the correct phrase.

Anna, I found this to be an informative and entertaining video! The amount of friendly-fire that's been going on in the Russian Armed Forces (as well as the fact that they are, as you said, accidentally "helping" Ukraine) reminded me of a quote attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte: "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
Indeed, Ukraine's enemies are making many mistakes in shooting down their own planes. I also find it reassuring that not only are they afraid, but they are also so afraid, they destroy their own equipment.

Hello, Anna....I visited much of downtown Kyiv the last two days...walking about. It was so beautiful The long alarms last night added a shocking contrast to the sound of the bells in the cathedrals that was sad to hear...but the crowds proved that Kyiv stands strong and united despite the threats.
