Gotta appreciate a spider's hard work... I feel sorry for destroying webs when I was a kid, but I'm making it up today, since I'm a web developer myself now

Boom goes the dynamite!

Jermaine Brayne Did you surf the web to find that one?
@@JustanotherLiz he felt sorry for what he did and he is a web developer now 😑
Crazy how these creatures know how to make such intricate and structurally sound webs purely by instinct.
Just the way humans learnt and mastered many things. Isn't it what's called aa evolution
This is without a doubt intelligence
Instinct is breathing not this
@@NarenMariappan this isn't instinct
Instinct is breathing
This is art from intelligence
So when humans make a trap to catch food it’s considered intelligence, but when spiders do it, it’s purely instinct. 🤦♂️
@philica it's Divine Intelligence. The spider is a channel through which this Intelligence works. Even what we call ' instinct' is a predestined mechanism.
My 4 year old daughter asked to watch a video of a spider making a web, in the middle of watching she said wow you should never ever break a spider web or they have to start all over , I’m just so proud that she notices the spiders hard work 😇
Yeah I ran into a huge spider web on my front porch tonight. It felt like I ran into a huge tennis racket. I simultaneously FREAKED OUT and was hoping I didn't destroy it (bc I knew it took a lot of time and hard work for the spider to create it lol)
Your daughter is such a kind person 🖤
I have an orb weaver in my window and the last two nights I watched her build her web. Cause they rebuild it every night. It's so fun to watch. I can totally just watch her and feel relaxed.
Awwwe! You're raising a sweet child that shows empathy to animals. ❤ You should absolutely be proud!
@@tarasaladin8260 She hides in the daytime, right? My porch spider, Olive, does. They are smart. They hide from predators in the daytime. I noticed that she rebuilds her web sometimes too. Not every single night though. She built a beautiful one the other night that's been up for days now.
Seeing a spider in your room isn't scary, it's scary when it disappears.

It is simply crazy that so small animal are capable of such complex, unbelievably well structured work even humans can learn from! Nature is an infinite mystery.
It's a reflection of their Creator.
Humans are small too, compared to Burj Khalifa
Spider building a web: All right, this is a good spot. Time to poop out my materials and build this sucker alone. Shouldn’t take long.
Humans building a building: All right, I’m gonna need $10,000,000, a crew of 40 people, blueprints of every step, massive vehicles, gear, power tools, 6 months.
It’s not a great comparison, but still…
guy i can draw this stuff aint no way this is complex
I hate spiders, but can we acknowledge how beautiful this is?!
spiders are cool.
@@valeries3296 they keep jumping on me in my garden, they make pointless, long stretches of silk only for me to walk into them then start checking my body for spiders. Interesting creatures but not something I could live with.

It always amazes me! Especially since they are not taught that and often don’t even see a web when born, then fly away to build an engineering masterpiece!
This would be the equivalent of a human just instinctively knowing how to build a house, or even a wooden fort with zero previous experience or visuals
@@phantom6276 that stuff is amazing! The fact that you can take an animal or insect from birth and never let it learn things, yet it will do many things the same as the rest. I’ve heard it called “blood memory” or “dna memory” . Either way, it’s fascinating stuff! The fact that information is passed to offspring without bro taught. There is an idea that states, that’s where fears come from. Like when someone has a fear of snakes or clowns. That it was passed down from an ancestor with a fearful experience.
@@phantom6276 I don't know someone who "instinctively" knows how to build a house!!
How is that an instinct?
@@TK-el4sr think about it, a spider knows where to put the most sensitive parts of the web and how much pressure each part needs. That would be the equivalent of a human knowing exactly how much of each material a house needs and how to organize the landscape of the house
@@phantom6276 "how much of each material a house needs" humans don't know this by instinct.
We do not know how to make a ceiling that is not gonna fall on our head one day.

I’m scared of bugs, but I can’t disregard the beautiful, intricate workings of their spider webs.
Spiders anrt bugs thier arachnids
@@SkylerIsHellaBored She was speaking broadly.
@@Rotisiv Even broadly speaking, a spider isn’t a bug (i.e. insect). Spiders aren’t a subset of insects. There is no overlap. They’re totally different creatures.
@@lisafeagins yo, she hates spiders, so no amount of classification will change that.
And she’s right to call spiders bugs. A bug according to Merriam Webster is “any of various small arthropods (such as a beetle or spider) resembling the true bugs”
If you know your biology, spiders and insects are both arthropods and are therefore bugs.
Lol Spiders are not bugs
1:15 idk but that made me laugh so hard
I came to this video after witnessing two of these spiders outside with beautiful web designs and was just curious how they do it. These creatures are awesome because come morning they pack their web up and clean their mess like they were never there. Spiders are responsible creatures. Scary, but responsible
BBC Earth with the sick tracks and amazing footage, this deserves some kind of award
Magnificent! I have a new garden orb weaver in my yard. She builds her web at the same spot every night right at sundown and in the morning she's gone. The same time every night she comes back and builds the web again and I just love to sit and watch her. I feed her some of the pests in my yard as well. I love them and hate them at the same time. Ran into a HUGE fking spider web on my front porch tonight. Felt like I ran into a huge tennis racket.
Really quite brilliant if you think about it, it basically extends their senses out much further than their body length while also effectively trapping prey and signaling them to their exact location. All of that from just some incredibly thin threads that are a tiny portion of their body weight.
Wow, I never thought about it that way! A web is literally an extension of their body/senses.

Legend has it that the spider kept spinning for eternity
'tis true. Athena cursed Arachnius (can't spell the name) to spin a web forever
Demo Theres also another story of Arachne weaving the tapestry and got punished by Zues and committed suicide and Athena resurrected Arachne as a Spider so she could continue weaving which was her passion. I believe thats the way the greek told the story, Romans retold it a bit differently as they did a few other stories. Either way it just shows the Arachne was right lol. The gods are pretty fucked up.
They are amazing little creatures i have a huge respect for them!!
The fly was a paid actor
What a phenomenal creature.
Just watched 3 spiders outside my patio weave thier web.... I luv them! Such meticulous wrk.
Amazing how nature shows us truths about our own lives. Much like the spider we sit at the center of our own lives and each choice we make is a thread. As we add more threads on our life we build our web intricately, the order and attention we give it dictates how orderly it comes out and the people who come into it.
Beautifully written... so true
And as soon as someone comes into it we eat them. 🙂

Wow
this is so sattisfying, not that im a big fan of spider , but the structure itself
Imagine you’re a spider. You hungry and spend many hours building your trap for food, then some annoying kid destroy yours.
Spiders probably dont mind that. Because they dont have coinciusness
@@finnvankoutrik7131 how so? Genuine question.
@@aseem2985 because they aren’t evolved to that point yet. Our body makes more uncoinscious decisions than that a spider makes at all. So they are way to small for that.
@@finnvankoutrik7131 I believe jumping spiders are one of the only species to have a consciousness aren't they. Their brains have shown to be more evolved than most spiders
If they capture and kill flies snd mosquitoes... they are alright in my book 👍🏽
Truly mesmerizing. The real architects ❤️
Even though arachnophobia is the most common fear in the world, you have to admit Spiders are pretty fascinating.
It is yet unexplored idea for slow TV - film/shoot spider web making in REAL time. Not that long, about an hour, usual length of slow-TV, and not difficult at all - but it is absolutely mesmerising, awesome - and relaxing! - to watch it unfolding in front of you on real time scale. I get frozen in awe when coming across spiders making webs. Just don't have time and tools to make a proper video.

Man...spiders are so amazing. They're gorgeous, really. I love watching them do their thing. (from a distance ofc because if I see a spider in real life I will have a full blown panic attack and start crying)
This was an absolute beauty to watch and the supportive music... what a true compliment to creation...
such awsome architecture. beside termites and bee, spider are placed on number 3 for me.
hellatze what about beavers? They have some moves too!)
hellatze watch the documentary about ants would not be disappointed
hellatze I love ants more and I somehow feel offended by termites now... Is this normal?
Well Termites really just build a pile and bees just build a ball with holes in it. Spider actually use architecture, gravity, and supports for their webs.
You're not gonna put humans anywhere on there? I think our buildings are pretty cool
Thank you so much for posting this!
I had a beautiful spider like this just outside my back door beside the porch light. It would make its web every night after dusk. Whenever I turned the porch light on, it was like I was feeding a pet, because all the bugs would swarm around the porch light and I would watch it eat.
Then I walked out one day and saw its unmistakable three anchor strands, but never saw the spider again. :(
I didn't know what species it was, but thanks to this video, now I do!
The natural instincts of nature is absolutely amazing.
