@@netizenfromindia First let it be built. But right now in India the most attractive airport terminals are Mumbai T2, Bangalore T2 (Under-Construction) and Del T3 and T1. I may have missed few others as well, but I will also include Hyderabad airport as well in this list.

I had a flight last month from T-3 and it is really world class. Proud of this Delhi Airport.. It's really beautiful..
Like Delhi n Mumbai Airport, Hyderabad, Bangalore air ports are also at par. New Air port Jewar Air port is being built in Noida Uttar Pradesh, which will even bigger n beautiful than these. Will be the 2nd biggest Asia.
The items available in the duty-free sections are of reputed international brands and are duty and VAT free. Hence it is certainly cheaper than available locally. Compare to present airport in Mumbai Delhi airport terminal 3 is much bigger. However The new terminal i.e. new international airport which coming up in New Bombay will be bigger and modern and expected to be ready in 2/3 years.

Delhi Airport can be compared ( to some extent) with Changi Airport, Singapore ... Both Airport is Huge but Changi is more beautiful to me.

T3 is definitely world class. My most of flight travels are from here....T2 is just work in progress. It caters mostly to Indigo airlines.....T1 too is good..
t2 will be shut down once the reconstructed T1 is ready.. t2 will then be reconstructed into a much bigger terminal 4

Terminal 3 of Delhi airport is simply beautiful....some people compare it with Mumbai's Terminal2....but I think Delhi airport is slightly better than Mumbai airport...
Delhi T3 is bigger in size but ig Mumbai T2 is better in interior design and aesthetic.

I have gone through both the Airports Delhi ,Mumbai . Here Delhi is bigger than Mumbai . Mumbai is also big with very beautiful architectural aesthetic. Delhi is simply very beautiful, big and larger passenger handling capacity . Delhi is well connected by fast Airport Metro Express line.
Currently the expansion of Terminal 1 is in progress to make it`s size equal to (=) T1 and T2 combined. Once done T2 will be demolished in order to make space for world-class T4 which will be much bigger than current T3. T3 has 62 gates(hanger) to board 62 flights at one time but T4 will be having 96 gates to board 96 flights at one time.

I just traveled to delhi Airport, it's very huge and amazing, I almost walked 2- 3 kms to our dept gate no 64. and there are more gates only in terminal 3, and yes liqueurs, brand products are duty free so u can get ut almost 40% discounts on all that..

Here we get foreign googs in lndian currency with no tax and this aeropoct is being run and built by GMR.
This is also taking into account the 'future' traffic and daily footfalls. Imagine these after 10 years! It has to be spacious then too. This now beats Mumbai anyday. Upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport 'may' be better than Delhi's. 🙏 to India.
delhi terminal 4 is also under construction.. 4th runway in delhi is also almost ready. terminal 3 will only be used for domestic flights in future

You should also review Delhi Aerocity. Delhi airport is not just an airport it is a sub city of its own with the largest land area of any other city in India. Big plus is the airport is bang in the middle of Delhi NCR’s richest business and residential areas.

My favourite airport is Singapore 's Changi one the Best International airport. I have been to many international, local airports in India, Europe and US. But Changi is always my favourite for their quick service. U r in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Mozzam asked about the prices in Duty Free shops in DIAL airport. The prices are slightly vary from country to country, but mostly at par with prices with Asian region & sometimes they prefer International currencies, as all travellers has foreign currencies. otherwise use Plastic money.

I worked at delhi airport terminal3 for 2 n half years as a customer service associate , n i was working for AIRINDIA SATS company, but unfortunately lockdown ruined my job, I really miss Delhi airport terminal 3😊

Every foreign brands available in duty free are duty free hence cheaper than market.
Tax/duty free goods are only for International passengers not for everyone..
Prices at normal shops are a little higher than the outside market prices... but affordable...

Duty free means bahar ki shops se atleast 30-50 % cheaper milega depend on what you are purchasing...Indians liquor bhot khareed lete hain because liquor in some Indian states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerela are very costly.
