I know this is a late comment but how do you do the hand poses each frame because for me I always lost when it comes to animating hands whenever I tried to create a stick figure fight

No offense to this author but if you're interested in animation definitely check out AlanBeckerTutorials, in particular the "Stick Figure Animation (revamped)" and "12 Principles of Animation". He covers a very large amount of material in a short time using very detailed visuals.

fun fact, extending the impact frame by one is called "hit-stun", the longer the pause, the more weight that was put in the impact frame

Depends on the accessory but in most cases I would put it on a new layer
