- - In time of despair and anguish; a familiar starclan cat observes over the grieving outcast.
In my story starclan-cats can watch the living world through corvid's eyes, way easier than to spiritually apparate. One can distinguish them by their feline eyes.... (this one is Omensky...not Raveneye he is still alive aha...)
I felt like creating something with this song during a long car ride and so it turned into a painting practise! Since it's so short I included a speedpaint (first public one outside of patreon woo!) Not super satisfied with the rushed Omen-crow scenes but I had a blast drawing Crowsong! She get's fluffier everytime.

The closeup view of he crow made me really nostalgic for one of my favourite games when I was growing up, I only know the german title tho: Das Schwarze Auge, Satinavs Ketten. It´s about a guy who got something like a curse put on him that he will bring the end of the world and the furher the story progresses the more cool and badass looking crows show up and you get really cool looking shots of them. Your artstyle reminds me so much of that, it´s so freaking cool

IS TOO BEAUTIFUL. It's something so short but with so much love and talent put into it. I think since when I found your channel (part of dark river map) I have never been disappointed with what you post and show. Seriously, it's all so magical, well done, with a lot of creativity and affection, and you're probably the kindest person I've ever met. You hear these messages every day, and this is just one more, but you, your work, your creations, mean a lot to a lot of people and to me too. I could barely repay the encouragement you give me to keep drawing, learning and improving, but when I animate and draw with a style I'm proud of, I'm going to do a big animation of Crowsong, and I hope you're there to see it

The amount of times I’ve rewatched this, I can’t even. The shading and lighting is realistic and amazing! Also the realism isn’t so much it feels false…in a way?? I mean like you know it has artistic liberty in it, by the way the fur flows, the EYES goodness they are amazing. And the crows feathers look so soft I want to pet the birb, but it’ll probably give a matching scar so…no thanks. You did a wonderful job and I can’t even imagine how long it took!
