bramblestar was recently exposed as an impostor and leadership was taken over by squirrelflight, he left thunderclan for a bit because it "wasn't the thunderclan he remembered" when squirrelflight needed him since he had leader experience from when he was left in charge during firestar's quest

The fact that Sandstorms personality is pushed to the side is so true, as someone who didn’t read beyond oots, I legitimately cannot recall anything about her apart from ‘Firestar’s mate’ and ‘Bullied Firestar as an apprentice’

I’m pretty sure redtail as sandstorms dad is canon. In into the wild, right before it was revealed that redtail was dead, rusty and graypaw were talking about sandpaw and they mentioned the fact that he was her dad
i like tigerstar because he shows that sometimes characters can just be evil. they don’t have to have some AWFUL backstory, sometimes they’re just driven by ambition.

Love your art but one of my favorites is greystripe tho i am in a part of book 2 were there are no hints of him beeing with silverstream. my other favorites are cinderpaw, morningflower, ravenpaw, and barley.

I think that Redtail should have been firestar spiritual guide like spottedleaf so we could see more of him cause he just dies at the start and the whole drama in first arc is around a dead cat we know nothing about and it would resolve so much drama around firestar and spottedleaf

I use dry ink from the inking category in default procreate for everything, though I've modified it just a little to not make it so patchy! also tyyyy

tigerstar did have his dad leave and he did hate kittypets but his dad left to be a kittypet and he mentor was thistle claw who forced him to train in fighting more then actually being an apprentice and looking around camp thistle claw also hurt tigerstar during his training using claws and biting.

that’s true! thistleclaw 100% effected tigerstar’s actions! ty for pointing that out! now that i think about, thistleclaw and tigerstar are one of the few cases we have in WC where the mentor has an actual impact on the apprentice’s actions!
i like your new redtail design but i wish it was a bit less calico looking as it’s super rare for a male cat to be a calico😊

Omg hold on! I just realized that with spittedleaf's spots squirrelflight could have gotten them from spottedleaf since spottedleaf is redtails sister!! And i find that very cute!

ngl, for sandstorm, I think Firestar and there relationship was abit rushed, mostly because she bullied him, and then fell in love after being saved, like there was no mention on how she did, like I remember reading the books and they were mates.
like they almost forgot to write her in more, it would of been cool if we saw more of her, and I feel like it would be a cool short book if she had her own, and how she fell for firestar, and her troubles type deal if that made sense,

how did you change the color of the lineart layer so easily??
i use procreate and alpha lock the lineart layer and select "fill layer" with a darker color of the darkest color of the cat then color the eyes still on the alpha lock mode :)) hope this helps lol
Longtail looks like Leopardstar, but that's okay! This is how you think they look, so it is okay. Also I saw what you wrote there.. Something like "Yeah, the baby has that condition. :) Ha ha"? I think that's what I saw anyways.
lol we were on a plane with a screaming baby and my sister and i were talking about a condition some babies have where they just scream and scream and we thought the baby had it since it was screaming all flight. the reason i wrote it was because we couldn’t hear each other 😅

sure! I use the dry ink pen i think in the ink section in the default procreate ink section thing, but ive edited it a bit. idk what i changed tho lol oops

Something I still don’t get is why oneeye/whiteeye retires after losing her eye like the eye she lost was the one she was already blind out of since birth??? Also I don’t know why they said brightheart couldn’t be a warrior after her injuries when they had no problem letting one eye train and become a warrior despite having the same disadvantage and did just fine like that feels kinda counter intuitive tbh
