You can keep the monitors, I’ll be more than happy with the cat.
lmao
Same :3 kittehs are the best.
F*ing animal lovers 😒😒😒 I hate 'em the most
@@tazwartega2023 lol
@@tazwartega2023 Imagine being this hateful because people like animals. People are trash honestly.
Do the same for the 1440p monitors 🙏
Yes please
2nd and 3rd this!
Please do this
I was really hoping he'll cover this resolution when I saw this video.
Guys just take a look at hardware unboxed. They got great videos!
Honestly, props to this channel for actually doing research and recommending the best products instead of just saying what you think, a lot of other channels don’t feel like putting in the work.
This was such a great review and the ghosting pictures helped me a lot on deciding the monitors! Thank you so much!
Can we talk about how cracked this man is at Apex and Valorant?????????????
Giga Chad
Chad literally plays at 1200dpi
@@hritikaggarwal270 1200 ain't that bad. I used to use 800dpi for more than 2 years and changed to 1600dpi recently and it feels almost the same after a week of use.

@@xleeepy2614 and you only use wingman? For some reason I saw many people with high sens getting 3k dmgs in pubs.
I'm glad I always watch your videos even if I'm not buying a product. Find out plenty of settings to tweak for my existing setup
Got the 2nd version AOC monitor a few months back and it’s fantastic, very happy with this purchase. This is me coming from a 1080p 60hz led monitor but also having used a Dell 1440p 166hz gsync previously.
this could not have come at a better time, i was just looking for monitors for my dad's setup. thank you so much for this vid!
Thank you for reviewing all the monitors in my Amazon wishlist
Finally, a price range thats a bit more rare to be reviewed. Thanks for the review Ali. Alr bought aoc 24g2 long ago, does not regret it at all
Same here, pretty good monitor for the price!
how much did you pay for it, i can't find it anywhere
@@AhmetSR 170€ (Finland)
The 27 Zoll is the same ore? I heard it have more black light bleed
I totally regret mine, mine was faulty and I learnt that the hard way, I few days ago my screen fell of the stand, I managed to catch it in time and I put it back in plane and yesterday it fell off again and I couldn’t catch it , now it’s broken.
Thank you. I needed to understand my monitors better
Was just looking for budget monitors yesterday so this came in clutch!
Check out the lg ultragear. I just bought one really good for the $
was really hoping to check out your review on the EX2510
Thank you dude, you just helped me a lot with my next monitor decison
Just scored the AOC 24G2 with the new panel for 145 USD a few hours ago. Haven't set it up yet but seeing this has made me very happy with my purchase ☺️
Are you gonna make a list with the best 1440p budget monitors as well? They are becoming more and more affordable by the month really and it'd be great to hear your opinion
I must admit I’ve never heard of this color vibrancy setting in the Nvidia control panel. Would that change your recommendation regarding the BenQ 240hz TN monitor with Dyac vs. the 360hz IPS panels?
0:35 when Ali said "very confusingly", the cat is confused as well
I really love this kind of reviews where the reviewer is honest. No bs. GJ!
Been using the AOC 24G2 now for 9mos. And im really happy with it. Planning to buy another one as my secondary monitor. 😁
Which panel did you get and what do you think of it?
We had the Samsung Odyssey for my brother you mentioned at the end. Returned after 5min of use 😂. The ghosting was terrible. Got the mobiuz instead and its awesome!
Your voice , place you stay , clothes you wear , are so clean and neat , love your videos :D
Not a true gaming monitor per se, but I got the Asus VA229QSB as an extra monitor meant to be small, yet capable of some light gaming if I decide to bring it with me.
22" 1080p 75hz IPS with FreeSync, thin bezels, height adjustable stand. Plus a clean and simple look. Surprisingly decent considering I am used to a 160hz 3840x1600 ultrawide.
love it! this is exactly what i am looking for! great job mate!
Perfect timing.
To me motion clarity is most important for any and all gaming. My current monitor, the GN24C from Viotek gets bad inverse ghosting for anything thats not above 90-100hz. Prob just gonna upgrade to a 1440p144hz+ IPS monitor when I can, for motion resolution and pixel response above pixel resolution for sure.
And this is for 2D games, FPS single and multiplayer, RPGs etc.
I got TN for a few years because of the clarity and response but IPS/VA has caught up to a point that Its not worth the hit to Contrast ratio and viewing angles. the wait for decent priced HDR monitors is way too long so I'm killing that dream for now. getting two Monitors 1440p around $400 with good SRGB/P3, one for gaming and one for content creation. the gigabyte ones maybe
I’ve had the AOC 24G2U for over a year now and it’s been really good
Same , 1 year and 3 months and it's been great.
Great video! Keep up the great work!
this is why i love your channel bro
Just bought the one in the thumbnail and it’s amazing.
I wouldn't imagine "budget 144Hz" that's also ips couple years ago. I'm looking forward to what's more to come.
My Budget Monitor was 75hz tn lmao
@@legendaryz_ch mine was 900p 60hz vga😂
Thanks Ali you always, deliver the best and thats what we love ,
Love from India
Watching this from 2x AOC setup. Amazing monitors for that price point. Its nice to see that the Acer proposition is also a good one since sometimes its hard to reccomend G2U because of aviability. Great Video as always!
hey bro im planning to buy the 24G2, but the only model available in my country is the 24G2E. would you personally recommend it for a person who mostly plays valorant? is it good?
@@peaky6622 I believe the G2E model just does not have speakers and is sold with diffrent stand than G2, the monitor panel used (what matters) should be the same. I havent played Valorant but i personally havent got any problems issues while playing fast paced games on my monitors. If the price is right i would reccoment that monitor as a budget 1080p monitor, but as you can see there is atleast Acer that could be an suitable alternative.
@@exokuzo7882 yeah I'm torn between an XG2405 and an AOC 24G2E. I don't think Acer is available in my country (their products are always sold out) so yeah. have you tried using the overdrive or the 1ms mode of your 24G2? is it good?
thank you! i needed this lol im getting the benQ mind blowing price
I can really recommend the aoc24g2. Got those dual stacked.
Can you do a personal favorites video covering which monitors you would choose if you were to have a second, content-creation-focused monitor? I've always wanted a second monitor that focused more on color accuracy and picture/video clarity, and something maybe bigger than a 24-inch screen.
I would love to see a review of the acer conceptd monitors. They look to be the best split between gaming and content making.
pretty happy with my Mobius EX2510, bought it on sale
Unfortunately the AOC 24 inch isn't available on Amazon for me. I was really hoping for the BenQ Mobiuz EX2510, as that's still a really good performer.
Hey, I wanted that intro. I watch your videos from start to finish no matter the length :P
U did an amazing work!
The more I watch your videos, the more I want to watch your videos...keep it up! Thanks for the content!
I'm still waiting for you to review the DARK ROCK TF and the Shadow Rock Tf 2, BK003 :)
Thank you for yet one great video!
Finally a guide i can relate to 😍
THANK U SO MUCH NOW I KNOW WATH MONITOR IM GOING TO BUY FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!
this is the video i needed
Nice video, I was definitely considering a few of these displays for a while until I caught a deal on a Gigabyte G27Q for only 269.99. 144hz 1440 IPS. Sweet deal.
27 inch 1440p has the same ppi as 24 inch 1080p display
@@ahamandedmamahaed978 yeah but its bigger
Brilliant. I recommend the AOC to a buddy with a super old TN. He's over the moon!
If you look at the review by HUB, the 2 different panels on the 24G2 is six of one, half a dozen of the other. Better motion clarity on the new model (with better input ltency overall) but the older model has better colour performance, brightness and much better contrast (which would help you identify targets more easily). The older model also had much better brightness uniformity which would result in lower IPS glow.
I recommend Philips 272M8 27inchs 1080p 144HZ IPS cost ~179 USD in Taiwan
appreciate the effort in your videos!
bit off topic; what's ur peak rank in overwatch?
honestly, after discovering the world of DyAc from your videos on the benq monitors, I just can't consider any other monitor. It's just so mindblowing how clear the images are when you're moving around!
Yes, got my Zowie XL2546K yesterday. But the M27Q is good too.
Is it worth dropping ips though
@@legendaryz_chhow does the m27q compare with the xl2546k?
I have the Asus VG258QR. I'm glad to see it in this comparison.
There are points that stay blurry in my mind : are the VA monitors a bad compromise?
Is the response time that critical? Like is 6 ms a deal breaker?
Thanks to the channel for this quality content.
Good detailed comparison review 👍
Wish you added more of the older AOC 24G2U panels results.
Thank you for your huge brain and love for FPS
keep doing more videos like these please
Bought the Acer one day before this video came out for 140 euro. This is the only video online I can find with the model.. and to my surprise the most highly recommended. 🤩
It would be nice to see your thoughts on the potential budget king, if it's any good, the aoc q27g2 the non curved va one, it's one of the cheapest qhd 144hz monitors and it's sibling, the cq27g2 has been widely reviewed positively
The AOC 24G2 is a great IPS 1080p 144hz monitor. I am using one for my gaming PC for a while now. Got it here in Canada for less than $200 CAD. Currently on amazon US it is $157 USD great option. Tons of great reviews on it too.
he says it is 165hz
This is exactly the video i needed right now!! Great content and quality as always!
Unfortunately AOC decided to discontinue the second version 24G2, so it will be pretty hard to get one moving forward. Though the Asus VG249Q uses the same panel and delivers a very similar performance. And on top of that it has pretty much the same ergonomics as the VG258QR.
24g2 with new panel or vg249q? For playing pubg mainly.
Which second version? The new panel or the old one?
Huge props for your testing!👍🏻
I wondered why the VG249Q wasn't in the review, it's combines almost every aspect of these monitors
@@th3truth_ Acer vg249q, without a doubt, what's also wrong in this video is that acer monitors also has a motion blur reduction called VRB, it's 100% the obvious choice.
i was waiting soo long for this kind of vid thank u
thanks, man. the Acer monitor is a lot cheaper compared to other modes in my country and I didn't know that it's that good!
I'll give a thumbs up because you do amazing work and this video will help a LOT of people but please consider doing this for 1440P
I just watched this video using the aoc 24g2 original version. I bought it about a year ago and for gaming, productivity, and entertainment use. I don't regret it at all
same bro. less ghosting with great color
I don't understand how I can see my version, can you help me?
I don't understand how I can see my version, can you help me?
@@Narrastorie there's a product number in the box and The first 3 letters can tell which version it is
Would love an updated video!
For me EX2510 is the best. Fast pixel response, no FRC, 144Hz, just perfect.
Great video ass always Ali, very happy with my AOCg2
I would never believe that my AOC was going to be reviewed by Ali and that he would recommend it that much. Feelsgoooood
Love the video. Can you do please do a review on Iiyama G2470HSU and AOC C24G2U? And maybe compare them to the probably current known budget king - AOC 24G2.
I currently have the Acer Nitro VG 240YP and can, indeed, say - the monitor itself is insanely good especially for the price. The stand is not that great - no height adjustments, slight tilt adjustment. Pro Tip - You can enable GSYNC (despite it only supporting FreeSync) in the NVIDIA Control Panel and it makes the experience much better. Would definitely recommend.
It's a different monitor to the vg242yp pretty sure 😂
@@MorganReidguitar Lol I just hate how they look the fucking same from the outside
@@MorganReidguitar how different can they be
i have bought the same monitor but with the speaker variant and i can use freesync premium, fyi freesync of all tiers are compatible with nvidia graphics cards
Thank you! Need the same for 1440 144hz and 1080p 240hz. Would be great!
I picked up the ATN AOC 24G2 a few months ago and absolutely love it. I'm on a budget, and the color accuracy has really helped improve my content (I work from my home office) while still giving me a huge gaming upgrade compared to my 10 year old 1080p 60hz monitor.
I don't understand how I can see my version, can you help me?
@@Narrastorie on the back of the monitor above your inputs there is a sticker with the label on it.
What're your thoughts on the MSI Optix G242? It's going for $180 and supposedly uses the same panel as the AOC 24g2.
Do you test games running at low frame rate or set the monitor to low refresh? Does it make images blurrier or would it be easier to get the refresh done and avoid artifacts?
great video, using the benq mobius one with remote hate tiny buttons on the back the monitor, like for higher end models a remote should be standard.
I have the AOC 24G2U and its great with my series x
I've got the Acer and glad to see I made a great choice. Yes, the stand is absolutely awful but I got lucky with my table and chair and it sits perfectly on it. Another thing to note is that I got the 165Hz version before it was even made official. The Amazon listing said 144Hz as well as the box but the display can be tuned upto 165Hz out of the box. I guess I got lucky.
Hey,, Can the Acer monitor at least tilt to downside even a little bit so that it faces me straight instead of facing upwards?
hey have u done color calibration on ur display
@@Muffin-777 yeah it tilts up and down
Just grabbed the Acer Nitro on sale for 170€ thanks to your recommendation!
I've been running an AOC C24G1 for close to 3 years now and an AOC 27G2 for 6 months now. I'll most likely switch both of these out for a 1440p 144-165hz and a 4k 120hz for my PS5 later on.
I would totally recommend checking out the Kogan 27" Curved QHD 144Hz FreeSync HDR Gaming Monitor, its 4K and is only $319 australian dollar, around two thirds of that price in USD
Edit: sorry it is actually a 1440p or 2K screen
Is there any noticeable difference between Acer Nitro VG240YS and the Acer one you reviewed?
The thing about ex2510 - it seems to have the good backlight strobing implementation from BenQ, so I'd say it's worth the extra, but I might be wrong since I don't have much to compare it to.
you seem pretty proficient at shooters always nice to see from reviewer
Lovely clip with that cat!
Hi Ali, are you planning on doing a review for Jonsbo A4?
There aren't many reviews out there and I think it's a really good price/performance case.
would love to see a review of the new gigabyte monitors that jus release this last month, the FI32Q, FI32U and the M28U
for 1440P, I would say the LG 144hz Gsync Async 2K monitor Nano IPS. It is now on sale on Amazon from £400 to £299. Cheaper than every other competition's 2k 144hz offerings
Earlier in your video you mentioned tracefree 40 is the best option for the Asus monitor. Then later in the video when you have the results compiled together you listed tracefree 60 to be the best. Which one did you mean?
I'd be interested to see how you MSI Optix lines up with these monitors. IPS Panel, 144hz, and only like $180
love the vid man. not sure if youll see this but here in asia, Prism+ monitors are the most commonly bought. would be cool if you could a similar test for this brand :)
I got the AOC with the original panel from amazon refurbished Its better than the LG monitor i had, the colors feel over saturated but thats up to the person, the UI is hard to control but doesnt matter since I use the nvidia control panal, it also has nvidia g sync and i creamed my pants when playing games, also for some reason the monitor doesnt have a sharpness option so it looks blurry but I notice the pre set modes i put it to gamer 3 and it made it look sharper and i spammed it to see if I was crazy but I guess they put more sharpness on gamer 3.
I was kinda hoping you would review the benq ex2510 in this vid.....
I bought my first 144hz monitor Acer XF243YP and I am more than happy . Had an asus vg249Q but at the second day of use I got 3 dead pixel and I was very disappointed . Returned it and got the Acer . Actually it's my second acer monitor (my first is a 75hz which I am using for a second monitor - multimedia, youtube and etc ) . And I am more than impressed with the colors , white balance and etc . The asus seemed like it had a yellow tint when using some white images . I couldn't adjust it in the settings . The acer produces way better white !
True, I almost go with asus notice lot of people complaint about yellow tint.
0:35 roughly the beginning of a valuable note regarding the two different panel variations for AOC
Edit: more or less you want a panel with serial number containing 'AWB' vs 'ATN'.
AWB>ATN
2nd Edit: oddly enough at 0:48 when he talks about the serial #, neither AWB or ATN are present in the shown screen settings 🤔
Do you think it is possible to mount two radiators AND do a dual loop with two smaller kinetic pumps in the nr200p
this video was extremly usefull , however i wonder in regards of the Acer Nitro VG242YP. It seems that particular monitor is rough to come by however the Acer Nitro VG240Y is recommended by amazon , how does this two monitors compare too one another?
Would you recommend the VG259QM? Many people said it is the best in that price range. Do you think that too?
