Thanx for doing these videos. It's great to see these gorgeous precious animals up close especially for people who can't get to u to see them & listen to their stories in person or not see their real personalities during their short visit. Although they would be much more beautiful to see in the wild where they were made to be. I love how u cater to their individual needs especially the older ones who would have died by now with their old owners. Your cats are living a long, loved & respected life of luxury after a traumatic unloved life. I hope to be able to donate soon. I'm addicted to watching your videos. Thanx again from Australia.

This is such a wonderful organization. the areas are so planned, you can connect areas with a tunnel to enlarge by one or many areas so they have the size of area they need for their physical needs. So much care to not touch, safety for them and you, always, while being so gentle and loving with them.
I'm so impressed with this. The fun-cation huge area where they get a vacation from their area and spend 2 weeks in 2-3 acers to roam... the ability to connect and disconnect areas, the planning that went into all of this is phenominal. Kudos to you all!

Though this video is over a year old, thank you for posting this. NIce to see some of your cats (though aware some are no longer there) and get an idea what visiting BCR might be like. Great video but better in person, I am sure.

I have so much respect for what the Big Cat Rescue team has accomplished ...
It is just a bit saddening to see the white tiger and lioness in such a cramped enclosure that the lioness has to pace back and forth very seven feet for mental stimulation.
I recognize the video is several years old, however I hope the 'vacation' sanctuary that was planned a few years back is operational so the big cats have an open area for them to roam, rule, mark and observe while the are on 'vacation' in addition to larger enclosures ... perhaps a minimum enclosure size of 10 body lengths of the big cat, squared or something ... Just a humble thought from a respectful subscriber :-)

You can watch our cats on vacation 24/7 at BigCatCams.com. All big cat enclosures are quite large at 3-4000 sq feet each or more. Larger than most homes.

The female lion I think you might have called her Michelle or not sure I just came down I don't know if she does not look very healthy I missed why you have these tigers and lions in captivity I think it's so wrong. tongues guess it's better than a wooden stick
The cats at Big Cat Rescue are here because they were abused, abandoned, neglected or used in circuses. Many arrive in bad health. They stay here for the rest of their lives. If born in captivity they can never go free. You can read more on our website at BigCatRescue.org
