The ideal would be 100% backwards compatibility, that can be put in the same charging dock (it would be niceto be able to simply swap out one for the other when I need to) at least more powerful than the PS4 (I know it won't be as powerful as the PS5 and I'm fine with that) and has at least 128 gigabytes (preferably more) of storage space with a place for an chip to expand our storage.
I do believe we will see this with the Switch 2.

I hope the next gen switch is completely backwards compatible and it has to come with an oled because this new awitch will pale in comparison. The switch oled display is just so good. I hope to just be able to runa stable 30-60 fps in games and when docked 1080p with the tvs 4k upscaling at stable 60 would be just fine. I mean look at steam deck even it has a tough time running higher than 45 fps on most titles outside of indies. I hope that the backwards compatible games run smoother onnthe swifch as well.
If nintendo doesnt make the new switch backwards compatible they will be doomed from the start. 6 years worth of games and new games still coming to not be backwards compatible would be a heart break. Nintendo had an outdated chip since the launch of nintendo so they were making a killing of these cheap ass parts they were using. They need to step it up id rather pay 50 bucks more for an oled display esp since ill be trading in my old one. Right now i have my rog ally and switch oled and if nintendo fails us i guess ill just sell my switch and emudeck yuzu here i come since ive already paid for these games in the switch.

@@officialnofriendo Sorry for saying my whool idea, I forgot. Maybe Nintendo is designing the Switch 2 to be bigger and more confortable to hold and that may result to a different screen size, not necessarly bigger, it may be between the 6.2 and the 7.0 inches or maybe one of them unless the want to make an iPad-sized Nintendo Switch console

Keep! Its not confirmed. But so much says it will be back compat! I believe it will be.

Are you good? Recycle the OLED screens? Don't we already complain about the screens on the Switch being 720p? I think majority of people would like a 1080p screen at least and maybe a bigger one (like Switch OLED or even a bit bigger). Even most of new phones have (technically) more than 1080p [2400x1080] and also 90Hz or more. PHONES! PHONES WEREN'T EVEN MADE TO BE GAMED ON!
True. But to save money... who knows what nintendo will do. But i do know they will cut costs somewhere!

who cares, full hd works fine up to 24 inches on a monitor !!! Is the windows standard, and 1440 up to 32 inches
