      @@JaniceFung Teh tarik is a little different because the tea is "pulled" with milk already in it; the agitation works like churning milk, giving it a slight separation of its fat content (think churning milk to obtain butter), that explains the characteristic smoothness.

    Great Vlog 📷 👍
    I was mean't to go to HK last year but had to cancel due to the riots.
    So glad we have all these HK style food options here in Sydney.
    You should try;
    - Hong Kong Bing Sutt in Burwood
    - Hong Kong Kitchen (shops in Broadway, Chatswood & Wolli Creek)

    Janice I got a question, do all the Hongkong ppl have sweet and savoury desserts at the same time? Cause from where I come from, lemon + milk + condense milk + curry + beef brisket is basically a No No No, Stomachache await :))) I like your video, very practical to me as a student in Sydney for 3 years and have not tried most of the places that you suggested.

      actually i have heard before that you shouldnt have lemon or like citrus with milk because you'd get a stomach ache! i guess most people wouldnt have an iced lemon tea with a hot milk tea haha.. i just wanted to show more variety for the video

      There's heaps around here in the North West Sydney suburbs in Eastwood, Carlingford, Chatswood there's a fair bit. Some in Hurstville. You might be able to find some in Bankstown, Fairfield if you know where to go but it's highly dominated by Viet cuisine.
      I'm in Macquarie Park so it's kinda in-between everything in the north west Sydney.

    you can basically have any kind of Hong Kong food in Sydney but not in Melbourne where I live. Can't fly to Hong Kong, not even Sydney during the lockdown, sucks!
