I've used up to 4 of these little chifi amps from fosi and ayima to power various surrounds to take the load off of my avr. Things sounded fine to me, although I don't have a trained ear. On the denon 3800 I can turn off the avr amps that are not being used and I assumed more power would be available for the channels I left to the avr. I can't really tell it sound much difference.
I finally noticed a difference once I put one lil amp to each of my L and R fronts though. It was clearly louder than using the avr. I know this because I'm very tuned in to the left and right and usually use them as the foundation for level and adjust levels based how I hear the L and R. But as soon as I put the lil amps on the L and R I had to turn down the level by 3 because movie music was so loud.
As far as wides my Sony 7000 has a nice upconverter that makes good use of the wides for me. It also has another surround option that makes good use of the wides called 360 Sound Spatial Mapping, I like it too.

I'm running my Atmos from two Fosi Za3 's on the bigger power supply and they are working fine. Room correction did roll off the highs a touch, given they are 8ohm load that is to be expected. I didn't mind them on the 6ohm mains either tbh. Maybe they were a touch laid back uncorrected. They didn't really sound different once room correction was applied as normal. I do agree that they had a couple of db of extra output over and above the avr amps, room correction just lowered them a touch.

Get a pair of Fosi V3 monoblocks. Much more suited to the task than a BT20A surely.
