Is this film interior or exterior, and how big is the difference in heat rejection between these? Thanks!

Thank you for your question, in this video we are showing an interior installation, but 3M does offer this film for an exterior option.
The largest difference between them is that exterior Prestige will reject heat at the very first layer, with interior Prestige the heat has to go through the glass, hit the film and go back through the glass.
The exterior film leads to a cooler window with less convective heat, and so it works more effectively.

What if i want the room to hold heat? In winter?

The film has a strong U-Value but since it is non-metallic it’s designed more for keeping the heat out in the summer. Better for warmer temperature locations.
