Swamp Dweller sir, your beard is everything that I wish mine would be. You crawling into the caves created by mangrove-looking trees in South Carolina wetlands - WHILE NOT BEING PURSUED BY THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY - is some of the ballsiest stuff I’ve ever seen somebody do, and you do it casually. Makes my stomach clench to think of finding big spiders or multiple large cockroaches in there. Hats off to you sir.
Vexed the edge, feathers fine now. One of the things its not great at out of the box. I consider it a solid compact survival knife. Shaved the guards down, looks close to a pukko knife now, but it helps me wrap my hand closer to the blade for close work.
A good utility field knife for more money than it’s worth. Made in Portland, OR is about as “Made in America” as a fried quinoa kale wrap. Buying from Walmart is the same.
I have the strong arm and the prodigy. The prodigy gets the brunt of use and abuse. Its a sound knife and after at least 6 years of using it Id recommend it to anyone w/o a second thought.
Does it also work as a "combat" knife? If not what would you choose? I have a Becker BK2 - it is great as a monster bushcraft knife. But looking for something else that isn't so thick and could serve as a one and done.

I got one a few years ago and it’s been a workhorse.
My only criticism of this knife is the part your index finger holds onto is too skinny.

No experience with any knife as a "combat" knife. I suppose it could work for it. But it has done everything iv asked out of it
