My wife really wanted to get this for me for Christmas a few years ago. She scoured store websites (like Target, Walmart, Best Buy) waiting for them to get a shipment. When she finally saw that Target was getting some (wasn’t even sure how many they were getting), she rushed over (on a freezing morning) to wait outside to possibly get one. When she showed up she was #6 in line. When they finally opened the doors she found out they had 6 (someone had shown up to wait like 30 seconds after she got there). She was able to get one! And it has been and will always be my favorite present I ever got from her.

I've known a lot of vegans who either don't know their meal has milk and eggs in it or choose to pretend it isn't in their meal when eating out.

Me and my girlfriend got to Best Buy's at a 5:45 this morning in Queens New York we were 36 and 37 on line they only had 47 units. I was actually pretty surprised that the store had that many units.

I was really wanting one of those when it released but after all the searching and checking stores I've actually lost interest in it. If I see one in a store someday I'll probably buy it but I haven't bothered looking for a while.
Basicly did the same thing as you guys on Tuesday at my local Best Buy. I came at midnight and was the 3rd person to get a ticket. I got ihop after I got the ticket, then I came back when BB opened and I got the nes. All my friends were so jealous, but it was sooooooo worth it. Nice to know that so many other people camped out like I did.

And I agree about plugging them into the tv and playing. I don't wanna play on a computer. I don't even know what an emulator is lol. I love this mini console and think it's a great price for a great product. I don't get why people are so worked up about them. I think it's great

NES Classic is pretty cool looking but I think that its only actual value is as a collector's item. In terms of practicality you can just get an NES style USB controller and play every NES Game ( er other eras ) known to man via emulators. It is not a bad buy for $60 though, I just think people are flipping over it because it's officially licensed by Nintendo.

***** I actually got one of the two on that Walmart truck. I think it's really great and am loving it so far. I've really only played the Mario games though. I probably won't ever really get into most of the games. I get some of the hype but I don't get why people are paying stupid amounts of eBay lol. I agree, they seem very simple to make. I dont understand why theres more of a retro demand for Nintendo products. I know the wii u isnt what everyone hoped for but for the titles that dont focus on the gamepad, its really offers some unique experiences. Perhaps since i skipped over the xbox one and ps4 and went back to pc, i dont need 3rd party support for games. So I enjoyed most of the first party titles. And the exclusives titles on other consoles didnt interest me to warrant their purchasing of said console. I do hope the switch is a success for nintendo.
